2020 MOTML Rookie/FA Draft

ROOKIE / FA DRAFT

This is the thread for official draft picks once the draft starts. Please pick during your specific time or before if it has reached your pick. If you do not think you will be able to make a pick, please submit a list to me via PM or email and I will do our best to make the pick based on that list during your specific time. Do not edit any posts in this thread, and no changing picks once they have been made. You may pick any rookie or free agent (players not kept) with any of the picks. The list of free agents should just be players available on the player’s page on ESPN.

*Note: If the person before you has picked then you can make your pick even if it has not reached your time slot yet. It is possible that the draft could be ahead of the actual schedule. If a player misses their pick (end time for the pick has passed) then the manager after can pick in their time slot. The manager that missed their pick can still make a pick at any time until the end of the draft of any of the players still not picked, but cannot pick a player picked legally after the missed pick because of the missed pick.

*ALL TIMES ARE CHICAGO TIME (CST)*

Hey BFF, I have a question.

What is the tie breaker for last place? Shouldnt I have the first pick? 46ers beat me head to head, granted it was by 3pts but still. lol

I havent heard back yet. I looked at the site and it said that i had last place (think thats from head to head games, he beat me).
So as per ESPN i should have it, but maybe this league uses a different tie breaker.

League uses opponents' winning percentage as the first tie-breaker. Points scored is the second (I believe).

Don't complain about the 2nd pick. You could have had the same record and ended up with the 4th. Like some other owner I know...

Ha, Im not complaining. Just wanted to know in case there was a mistake. Ya never know. lol
If thats the rules thats the rules. In fact it actually makes a ton of sense to do it that way.
I just wish my team didnt suck so bad so i could be picking 16th instead.

Before last year we changed it to just points for since that is a better indicator of who is better / worse and it takes me a longer time to do all the matchup checking. If we need to have a discussion about it then we can, but nothing about outcomes was known then.

No it’s cool, it actually makes more sense the way you are doing it. I just wasn’t sure what the rules were. And heck, I gotta bring it up just in case! Ha

That being said, Fournette on the block for a draft pick or combination of players and picks. Need to rebuild.

Nietzsche once asked if we can ever truly pick anything. If detrrminization and actualization are the paths to enlightenment do we have a pick?

We pick Sal's grandma, OL, central Florida.

Just kidding. Wanted to give little shout out to last two departures. Pick 4 coming soon.

Sal's grandma is a game changer to all the old school. Anything too intellectual or just a lot of words to understand is all Karhu.

With #4 overall the Eskimo Brothers select Cee Dee Lamb, WR, Dallas.
