It really depends on your match up and the rest of your team IMO. Marshall and Jeffery is a decent option if you want to make sure you have an average number from those two spots because of the obvious.. They will equal each other out no matter what. Its WAY more likely one will have a huge game and one will have a less than average day or they will both have average days than both have huge games. So, you will all but guarantee an average day from those spots. But, if you need to score a ton of points to win you are foced to pick what two recivers of the four have the best shot to score the most points. Doing so you would have to chose between Marshall and Jeffery and one of the other two..since, again.. Its highly unlikly that both Marshall AND Alshon have huge days.
Generally speaking I don't like having two players in the same position starting for my teams most weeks.
If you are better than the team you are playing at other positions and its highly likely the rest of your team will outscore theirs. Then, starting Marshall and Jeffery is not a bad idea since it guarantees points from at least one if not both spots.

Another note is that most players have their seasons worst fantasy days on Thursday night games. or at least below average. I keep that in mind too when setting my line ups.

Under no circumstances (weather or match-up) would I ever start Jeffery over Cobb or Garcon....ever.
However, this is the week B get's back on track...I could honestly see an 8 to 10 catch 140 yard 2 TD game out of him tonight.

I would always start Jeffrey over Garcon from this point forward.
I would probably never start a WR over Cobb. No offense to B.
Given the choice, I'd definitely start Cobb and B.

For what it's worth, 4 for 4 which has finished in the top 5 in FSTA rankings for accuracy has Garson ranked as the 11 WR the rest of the season and they've elevated Alshon to 33.
Fantasy Guru (who really has a hard on for Jeffery) actually has Alshon rated as his #23 WR moving forward, but he has Garson at #6.

IF Alshon were the true #1 on this team he would be a top 15 WR at this point. There is no way if you are talking the rest of the season you play Alshon ahead of Garson. I'm not saying Alshon wont have bigger games on a week to week basis. But Garson will end the season with way more points.

Yeah- I'd start him over Garcon. That's how bullish I am on the Bears offense.
If anyone has Jeffrey in a league where I have Garcon - propose a trade.

First... before you lecture me on who to start or sit ... shouldn't you beat my last-rated team with your first-rated team? LOL

Every year it's the same thing...I'll make 8 out 10 Superbowls, I'll win 6 championships......and I'll have the worst luck in the BFO League. Each of the last two years I've lead the league in total scoring and finished 6th at the end of the season.
