I was just farting around, looking at a Yahoo fantasy team that missed the playoffs - and thinking about what a stupid waste of time it is.
And then ... somewhat inspired by the irreverence of Boers and Bernstein on WSCR's "Fantasy Football - Sit'em or Bench'em" bit, I dropped several good players from my team ... ostensibly making them available to be picked up off of waivers by the folks who are still in the playoffs.
I feel kind of bad about it. If there were any money involved, I would never have done it. But maybe this will be a good social experiment, to see if it would be an ethical faux pas, or to see who if anyone grabs the players in attempt to get an unfair advantage.
My apologies to the folks in the playoffs.
I did a bad, bad thing.

There is an option, especially in Yahoo, to lock teams from making any moves once they're eliminated from all competition. I installed it in the league I created this season.
