Gruden and Mack haven't spoken at all. Mack may be on his way out in trade.

While rooks holding out don't bother me much, this guy is due to make $13+ mil this year. He is under contract for the year, he needs to get into camp. The contract can get done during the year. His salary jumped from $690,000 last year to the current $13 mil+. Take the hefty raise and shut the eff up.

What would be the asking price in a trade?

Worth a 1st rounder...Mack's talent is hard to find. But what he's worth and what the Raiders can get for him are 2 different things.
I will kill you if you cut me at the knees. You will drink with me when invited and stay til I say so. We only listen to American Music. I make men nervous with just my presence. I expect an apology if you hold. I throw linemen at QB's. Believe the Lore!

You think they need an undersized center and an over paid blocking TE?

lmao on the undersized center and over paid blocking TE! I think the asking price for him would be a 1st and maybe a 2nd...if not a bit more

Hell, throw in an oft-injured first round WR with the athleticism the Raiders cherish

I'd give Roquan Smith and a 3rd for next year as a start. Not because of the holdout, but because EDGE is just so much more important than ILB and I think Kwiatkoski is a decent #2. Plus Gruden was pretty high on Smith from what I have read.

Or I would go Floyd and our 1st if they preferred that. I like Floyd, but here would be the LB corp without him.

Of course any deal would only be if a long-term deal could be struck between us and Mack.

JACK or BANDIT/JOKER/BUCK (whatever you call it)- Mack: primary passrusher
SAM - Kwiatkoski: physical, will line up with the TE
MIKE - Trevathan - sideline to sideline guy to shadow the RB
WILL - Smith: most athletic, needs to be able to really thrive in space for the run and pass

That is a pretty damn great group.
