Zimmer: Did you see the game?
Reporter: Was it an easy decision?
Zimmer: Yep, it was pretty easy.
Zimmer pretty direct on why he cut his kicker

Don’t draft kickers to a team built to win now. As a matter of fact just don’t draft kickers.

They drafted him in the fifth round. Cut two weeks into the season. Jesus.southdakbearfan wrote:Don’t draft kickers to a team built to win now. As a matter of fact just don’t draft kickers.

Kickers get the yips.... and it's better just to cut them and bring someone else in... hence why you don't draft kickers... there are tons of them just floating around... and no, there would be no reason to bring a kicker on a practice squad... let him break out of his yips and then pick him up later if Parkey has issues... no need to waste a spot
