I've got us winning this one, but I don't think it'll be a cake-walk.

the Bears have to take games against division opponents seriously ... it would suck if they end up tied for first at the end of the year and lose out because they put in a stinker against Detroit

I think Mitch is going to up his bad side stats by throwing a pick 6 with the Bears in the redzone ... but that 80 plus yard return TD will be the main highlight for the Lions as the Bears turn the rest of the game into a steady routine of moving the sticks, eating the clock, and getting enough points to win

I think this is the Jordan Howard game. He will be the bell cow with a huge play or two from Cohen. Trubisky 1 TD. Howard 2.

The Lions are a mess...their offense is in the bottom 10 of the NFL and that was WITH their best receiver.

With Mack being back in the lineup, it's going to be a rough day for Stafford who's still gotta be hurting after being sacked 10 freaking times.

I feel like the Bears win this one. Lions keep it close until halftime, but the Bears pull away in the 3rd and don't look back.

As long as the Bears posture is good, we should be fine. ;)

Bears typically never make it an easy victory unless it's against an extremely terrible opponent. I don't think the Lions are in that category of bad like the Bills or Bucs defense. This is a division game and I'm anticipating a hard fought victory. I expect this to go similarly as the Jets game.

Bears are 1-9 against the Lions over the last 10 meetings, but things are going in opposite directions for each franchise. Seeing as the Lions are on the road, I think it will probably be clear the Bears will win by halftime

Wow! I thought these came out on Wednesday's. Did the next week's prediction thread get flexed to Tuesday?

I got antsy and decided to move it up to today because, well, I felt like it.

The Bears have a top five scoring offense, and a top three defense. The Lions are over 20 in both categories. It is a division game, but it shouldn't matter. Good teams beat the teams that they should beat. This is another one of those games. The Detroit run defense is BAD. The Detroit offense is not good, and got worse with the trade of Golden Tate. Home at Soldier Field, the Bears need to take care of business. This isn't the Bears teams of old, its a new regime, a new attitude, and a new culture.

Howard has another multi TD day. Miller is the leading receiver. Biscuits throws for 250yds, two TD's and a pick. Bears have 6 sacks, 3 takeaways, and another defensive TD. Lions get a TD in garbage time.

It will probably be a tight division race to the wire, but I now see a significant chance that the Bears clinch the division before the final game against the Vikings. Gotta have this game, though.

I mostly want the Bears to win this game to shut up most of the annoying Lions fans on Twitter. I'm so sick of them bringing up the fact that they have won 9 out of the last 10 against the Bears.

Another beat down. Fangio v the kitty cats O positively delights me. My only concern is Nagy going against the mad scientist ...when it really shouldn’t because Nagy has come through most tests..

We're hot, coming off a dominating road win, and playing the Lions. I'm guessing Mack returns for this one.

It won't be competitive. We win big.

The only thing that can hurt us is the playcalling. If it's like the first quarter against Buffalo with the odd commitment to the run, I just don't know, but there's no way the Lions D can keep up with this offense. The Lions O is going to have nightmares about this defense and especially so if Mack plays.

I'm looking for Miller to have a huge game. We're at the midseason point, he's playing well, and I think it's time for a breakout game.

Hopefully Nichols can play. That guy is f-u-n to watch.

Anyone that is nervous about the Lions game, based on our inability to generate much offense against the Bills, needs to remember that the Bills have a GOOD defense. It's a top ten defense in the NFL, and their front seven played well.

The Lions...their defense is not good. Bottom third of the league, and headed in the wrong direction.

The bears will have to put pressure on Stafford all game long and finish if they want to win. The bears should control this game because they’re a better team. The 4th quarter is when the lions and Stafford come alive and the bears go into hibernation. By this time, I feel the bears will have opened up a big enough lead that the lions late comeback won’t matter. This is probably the most crucial 3 games this season. The bears could kill two birds with one stone, further their lead in the north and essentially knock the lions out of contention. The bears will handle their business!

A little more ball control. Mack inspires the D and he gets a couple of sacks.

I don't think or will be a blow out but I expect a bit of dominance. Bears are better across the board, Trubs just has to play like it.

Another defense that is good-OK to go against, and an offense that can either explode or wilt to defend. It could be a tight one or a blow out. I think the bears pull through this one with the 1st half being close or possible a score behind, but pulling it out in the 2nd.

Lions are 1-3 on the road and have given up tons of points the last 2 weeks to inferior opponents. Trading their best receiver is bad juju. And after 10 sacks last week, Stafford gets introduced to Kahlil Mack in Chicago. This is Leonard Floyd, Mack and Hicks going into this game...

Two teams heading in opposite directions. The Bears happily destroy the Lions by halftime. Biscuit looks good with a couple TDs and zero picks. Howard and Cohen give the defense fits on their way to a 200 yard combined rushing game. Fitts gets kicked out of the game for tea-bagging Stafford after a big sack.
