Dungy must not pay attention to hockey. Coach Q launched after 3 cups.

Joshy isn't going anywhere.

Packer forum..

Perhaps it's time for Aaron to come out of the closet and admit his homosexuality, remove the burden of hiding his secret in his life, then maybe he can better focus on his job....

Hue Jackson recently became available. He knows his way around an offense.

Who was the last player/coach in football? You know Rodgers thinks he could do it better than McCarthy.

It's going to be interesting for sure. Rodgers is pretty set in his ways, so you know he's going to want a ton of input on who the coach is. And as we all know, that rarely works.

Disagree. Flip is not setting the world on fire and he definitely is not getting universal love up here in Minneapolis.

This is interesting... Rodgers is going to do his best to show that it's HIS offense. Wouldn't shock me to watch him play like his hair is on fire.

It similarly wouldn’t shock me if they completely implode. Or if Erin tries running around extending plays to the point where he gets himself injured again.

I’d so very much like to watch that team just friggin implode. They deserve it. Go back to the pre-Reggie White days when the piss and mold was viewed as a career wasteland. That would be great.

I heard McDaniel is the pick, hope so, as Eron and McPrick should be throwing shit faces before camp...

so the Packers announced his firing on twitter before they actually told him?

that's pretty low class even for cheese land

How poetic it would be, if McDaniels got hired, did something Aaron didn't like, and Aaron demands a trade and gets his way?

that scenario would cause me to then actually like McDaniels

The Raiders may say, hold my beer.

Remember, Gruden had Erin's balls in his mouth on MNF for a long time. He likes those sweaty balls.

Better yet, they have no one sitting on the bench that is the next big thing. I also don't think they would draft another QB at this point, because Erin would throw a tantrum.

2022 is the first season Rodgers could be cut and even that is for a $11.5m dead cap hit. They may draft late round fliers before then but they'd be stupid to use any significant draft capital on a QB before 2010 at the earliest.

Not as stupid as the contract they've given Rodgers but still pretty stupid.

They will never trade or cut Rodgers. The "shareholders" would lose their minds. This will be an Eli Manning situation that drags on for years. Just hoping to get the pieces together for just one more run that'll never come. Let them rot. I like the idea of humiliating them for the next half decade.

Maybe but maybe Not For Long...

I'm not going to write off the Packers or Rodgers but if his 13.9% of the cap in 2019 and 16.3% in 2020 don't produce winning seasons he'll be on the hot seat going into 2021, probably with another Head Coach.

The Manning comparison is apt but it's worth remembering that despite playing only a touch over 0.500 ball, Manning has 2 rings to Rodgers' 1 and the Giants' last one was more recent.

The Packers really aren't in good shape. The roster needs an overhaul, they don't have piles of cap space and Rodgers is good enough to stop them getting really high draft picks. It's about as bad a situation as you can be in with an active HoF QB.
