Knows the system and has shown some promise. I can dig it.

There goes that whole "draft a QB every year" plan that some people like.
Mikefive's theory: The only time you KNOW that a sports team player, coach or management member is being 100% honest is when they're NOT reciting "the company line".

re-signing this guy does not necessarily prevent that

I remember when Bray was talked about as a potential top 10 pick because he threw like 14 TDs in 4 games before getting hurt. Then he shit the bed the following season and went undrafted.
He's got a superhuman arm. I don't know why his progression stopped and dropped off a cliff.

I will kill you if you cut me at the knees. You will drink with me when invited and stay til I say so. We only listen to American Music. I make men nervous with just my presence. I expect an apology if you hold. I throw linemen at QB's. Believe the Lore!

2011 - He broke his hand and missed the rest of the year. He was on pace for a ridiculous year though. He threw for almost 2000 yards and 17 TD in like 6 games.Atkins&Rebel wrote:What was his injury?wab wrote:I remember when Bray was talked about as a potential top 10 pick because he threw like 14 TDs in 4 games before getting hurt. QB that knows the system and can be a solid backup is a better play than trying to catch lightning in a bottle.
"I wouldn't take him for a conditional 7th. His next contract will pay him more than he could possibly contribute.".

(2020 update, wait, was I right...)

Being short on draft capital with a young qb and solid backup I think drafting a qb would be a complete waste.Mikefive wrote:There goes that whole "draft a QB every year" plan that some people like.
