Tom Brady announces he's 'retiring,' but there's a catch
Six-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback Tom Brady joined Twitter on Monday and announced he’s “retiring” from football.

Luckily for New England Patriots fans (and unfortunately for fans of every other NFL team, especially those in the AFC East), Monday is April Fool’s Day.

The apparent joke received more than 10,000 retweets and more than 20,000 likes in its first hour. It was Brady’s first-ever tweet. He appears to have joined the social media platform last month.

A little over an hour later, Brady following it up with: "Was this a bad joke?"

wonder how many people in New England had a seizure when they read that?

I mean, I'd promise to miss him if he went away.

So he actually does have sense of humor. I will admit, I am a fan. I like watching him play.

I honestly like Brady and Belichick. If I had more room in my heart of hearts I could easily cheer for them. however The Bears take up all my heart room, so alas. That being said I love watching Brady and Belichick make people that hate them eat crow and have a cow. Me included this past season because we should have won that game.

They present a model that we should be following. Now that we have a good base in place: dont over pay to keep non special players, gain compensatory picks, draft smart and dont try and win free agency press releases.

I have never seen a QB better than Brady.
Belichick is among the very best coaches of all time.
I hate them both.
