Per PFT

The Bears have announced that they have tendered defensive end Roy Robertson-Harris, outside linebacker Isaiah Irving and offensive lineman Rashaad Coward as exclusive rights free agents.

Choosing the Bears after going undrafted, Roy-Rob deserves all the money.

I'm really going to be watching Coward in TC.
Mikefive's theory: The only time you KNOW that a sports team player, coach or management member is being 100% honest is when they're NOT reciting "the company line".

Go back to leather helmets, NFL.

I actually agree with Rusty.

Ok.. not so much that he's 'earned an extension"... but the smart play for the Bears would be to try to lock RRH to a 4~5 year deal now= Because it's pretty damn obvious that this dude is a budding star to me.

Hats off to Pace.. who once again doubles down, drafting essentially the same player in the bottom/UDFA as he did in the 1st round!

I wish there was some way that we could give RRH some more cash, he's definitely earned it. Amazing cap value for now and I hope he gets his sooner rather than later. Really wish the players union would sort out some kind of cap exempt bonuses for young players outperforming their contracts.
"I wouldn't take him for a conditional 7th. His next contract will pay him more than he could possibly contribute.".

Noted Brain Genius Malk, Summer 2018.

(2020 update, wait, was I right...)

They really should do something like that! For as much as these young guys put on the line with possible injuries before the 'big payday' they should be rewarded for great performance.
”Damn -- Khalil Mack had another strip sack?” Gruden asked rhetorically, shaking his head at the Oakland Raiders assistant coaches in his midst. “Are you ... kidding me?”
