I suppose I could call up a time when people on this board thought that two firsts for Khalil Mack was too much. Clearly that guy was being a diva.

That being said, Jalen Ramsey is no Khalil Mack.

Too bad the Packers didn't make that trade. Oh well.

I don’t think it’s an unreasonable price, but it makes me like the Mack trade even more. I’d rather have Mack, and the Bears gave up less by getting that second back.

Rams also traded Marcus Peters to Ravens for a LB and a pick. And traded the Browns a pick for a center. So their dealing, to try to shore up weaknesses. Wonder if Pace don't feel Bears in same situation or the weaknesses we have can be filled with depth.

The Bears also signed Mack to a new contract immediately they signed him. Not so the Rams with Ramsey. He's under contract for another season, but an extension must be on the cards. However, they've paid out big money to Goff, Gurley, Donald and Cooks recently and with how much they gave up to get Ramsey he and his agent going to be in the driving seat when it comes to negotiations.

Why did the Rams even do this?

Was Peters bad in the locker room?

Both corners are going to get paid eventually. You can make the argument that Peters is the better corner.

Peters has 22 INTs in four full seasons. Ramsey has 9 through three seasons.

By comparison, Prime Time had 17 INTs in his first four season.

I know there's more to a CB than just INTs, but its the number I can easily use for a comparison.
