Getting even more steam. Jimmy G is not going to sit behind Brady again nor are the 49ers going to be on the hook for almost $50M in QB salaries. The 49ers wouldn't eat $26M and cut him so he'd be available in a trade. He might bring a 1st even though he doesn't have a lot of NFL production to date except for 2019, which was excellent.

Rumors are that if Brady does sign with the Niners, Jimmy G wants to go back to the Pats.

Not sure how accurate but I read that Bellechick was willing to roll with Jimmy G and let Brady walk several years ago. Brady, tho, went to Kraft and forced the trade to the 49ers.
