This is the right timing for Cincy - they tried to get a trade all the way through the draft. But it means Dalton might be stuck playing cheap.
Are there places left that would want him and still have money for it?

I am not seeing the Pats making a move. I think Belichek is more interested in starting his new dynasty with a younger QB who can be in place for many years. But what do I know.

I don't think he goes to the Pats. Jacksonville is my bet. Minshew, Dobbs, and the rookie Luton don't inspire all that much confidence.

Bill O'Brien tried to trade Watson for Dalton straight up but was denied. But he won't bite as a low cost FA addition.

I'd be so pissed if that guy was my HC

Cincy beatwriter said tried like crazy to trade him so could keep the $. Said thought deal was done with Bears but they were negotiating with Jax too and went Foles.

thats a good move for dallas. i still think prescott kinda sucks and now they don't have to pay him 30 mil a year
