nice to look at, nice to listen to ... I thought she was an awesome positive element to the CBS team back in the day
Phyllis George, Trailblazing Sportscaster, Is Dead at 70
she had a segment each Sunday where a player was highlighted and his playing clips set to music ... I know she did not make these segments, but she was the host for them ... and I can still remember the one for Walter Payton, set to the song "Nobody Does It Better" ... have tried to find that particular video forever to no avail ... probably because it was broadcast in the pre-internet days and is buried in some CBS archive vault
but, someone did do their remake of it and it is like the one I remember on the CBS broadcast
watch it and be amazed
