I honestly have no clue which way they're going to go with this. Are they going to stick with the Native American theme or just change it completely? Not being a fan, I personally don't have a preference so I'm curious to see what they end up deciding, if anything.

Red Tails makes a bunch of sense. Keep the colors in the logo and it would pay tribute to the military and African-American soldiers as well.

who doesn't like redskin potatoes? no controversy there ... and they could hold fan recipe contests ... I think my cheesy garlic mashed redskin potatoes would be a worthy competitor

Sounds like the announcement is coming tomorrow. I didn't have a suggestion about what it would be but Red Tails would be awesome.

Just heard on the radio that some dude took out patents / trademarks on several possible names Washington might adopt, had several thousand dollars of merchandise made up and started selling it online to show that he's using the patent.

This is fairly typical of most major bits of news like this. The NFL will either pay them off or lawyer up until they can't afford it anymore.

so they have become the TBD's ... makes sense for them to wait until next year for a real name since there wasn't really enough time to make all the changes and get the legal crap all sorted in time for 2020
