that is f'd up ... they were saying before the game he aggravated a previous injury .. guess getting a needle through your lung counts as an aggravation

guess the Bears aren't the only team that uses Dr. Nick

So how in the hell does a 1/4” injection go a full 2 1/2” in to puncture a lung?

This makes no sense. Even if the needle made it all the way into the lung it likely wouldn't have an effect from what I know of tension pneumothorax big words for collapsed lung. You can put numerous small needles in the lung is kind of spongy. I'm going to ask 2 er docs I know about this.
