My heart says BEARS vs BROWNS. Old time football, plenty of black and white highlight reels.
My head says SEAHAWKS vs BILLS. I have a block in my brain that cannot choose the Pukers even if they are so highly regarded. Can't do it.
SEAHAGS - BILLS, with Buffalo winning 35-31 and finally bringing the Lombardi trophy to the frozen shores of Buffalo.
(almost as likely as the Cubs winning the World Series)

San Francisco has always been my favorite booing city. I don't mean the people boo louder or longer, but there is a very special intimacy. Music, that's what it is to me. One time in Kezar Stadium they gave me a standing boo.

I think it'll be the Packers over the Bills.
But I'd really like to see an AFC team win (that isn't the Steelers).
Since I've sort of written the Bears out of it, even if they beat the Saints, I'm rooting for the Bills.

KC probably gets back, I’m gonna guess against Seattle. Packers will choke.

I just don’t see the Pack D being able to stop a fully healthy Saint O if they meet. My heart will not let me pick GB.
I would love a Bills v Saint Super Bowl. I would not mind seeing KC back in either.

I love the Bills but love the Chiefs even more because of the kid. I think it will be the Pack versus one of them, and the Pack losing. I see the Pack as being just a better version of the bum-slaying Bears. The Packers can pound the shit out of 85-90% of the league... but when they have to play a juggernaut like the Bills or Chiefs in the big game their soft defense can't hold and then LaFleur can't exploit as many flaws with such good teams.

Washington vs Tennessee
I will kill you if you cut me at the knees. You will drink with me when invited and stay til I say so. We only listen to American Music. I make men nervous with just my presence. I expect an apology if you hold. I throw linemen at QB's. Believe the Lore!

Bills over the Packers. Rodgers is playing at such an elite level right now, I don't see how they don't make the Super Bowl.

And then you have the Geritol Bowl with Brady-Brees. I may have to watch that game with music playing instead of announcers slobbering over how great the old QB's are.

The Packers are going to win the Superbowl running away. It kills me to say it, but if Mahomes is hurt or hobbled, I don't see them beating the Pack.
This sucks. I'm fucking tired of watching the Packers go to the playoffs over and over again. Fuck me dry.

Mahomes is overrated, The chiefs could win without a single quarterback being on their roster.Bears Whiskey Nut wrote: ↑Sun Jan 17, 2021 6:37 pm The Packers are going to win the Superbowl running away. It kills me to say it, but if Mahomes is hurt or hobbled, I don't see them beating the Pack.

And if the Saints win this game, Rogers won't finish next week's game.
Tampa defense is much tougher and faster than is the SaintsMoFugger wrote: ↑Sun Jan 17, 2021 7:14 pmMahomes is overrated, The chiefs could win without a single quarterback being on their roster.Bears Whiskey Nut wrote: ↑Sun Jan 17, 2021 6:37 pm The Packers are going to win the Superbowl running away. Surprising how well the TB defense played, particularly as they have lost a starter or two on the D-line. Then again, the Saints O somewhat reminded me of the Bears but with a better O-line and WR's. You had a QB who couldn't throw it effectively over 20 yards and gifted the game away with all of the INT's, where a team had success running the ball early but then inexplicably forgot about the running game in the second half.
If Fournette continues to run well then TB has a chance. I doubt Mahomes will be playing on Sunday. A few of the commenters here chose GB-BUF, and they could be right.
Oh yeah, I have to wonder if Brees inability to throw deep had something to do with the chickensh!# QB sneak they pulled against the Bears at the end of the game. He extended himself trying to break the plane and probably got a few whacks in the midsection for his trouble. He seemed to throw better against the Bears than the Bucs. Payton had to be thinking about putting in Winston to replace Brees in the third quarter, but may have let a sense of loyalty prevent him from pulling Brees.
Brees may be at the point where the mind is willing but the body can't keep up.

I suspect (pray) that the Pack are really just not much more than a higher class version of the Bears (Bum slayers who just beat a better class of bums). Let's see how they do against the very top teams with few if any real weaknesses to exploit. Tampa did OK against them last time.
If the Tampa D can't stop them, I'm afraid Obi Wan Mahomes is our only hope.
