Nice to see I'm not the only one who cringed when they saw this. It seems a lot of people are just eating up.
Ballsy thing to say considering the chances of actually turning the Lions into a contender. I can imagine him giving a press conference in 2023 at the end of yet another losing season and the first question he's asked is, "Coach, going back to your comments in 2020 about biting the knee caps of your opponents, after 3 years of not making the playoffs, can you give us your thoughts on those comments?"

The first 20 sec of this clip I really like. It's the truth. Coach speak is waisted bullshit.
The rest was funny as all get up. I dont really care about it. Its dumb in general. A bad logic path. Then you come to the issue of could someone actually bite of a knee cap? I think its technically feasible. But google was not definitive if it's been done.

Depends on the circumstances; if he suffered 3 losing seasons but lost several close games to superior efforts and talent of his opponents, then he could say that he's proud of his guys and the team as a whole for fighting tooth and nail only to lose to a better opponent. If he's repeatedly getting blown out with his team showing no signs of having a competent offense, not having a cohesive game plan or making obvious adjustments, not scoring points repeatedly in the first half, not utilizing his players in the best ways possible despite the desired scheme, or insisting that some players that are obviously not as good as the starters should play in key situations, then he's Matt Nagy.Xee wrote: ↑Fri Jan 22, 2021 9:12 pm Nice to see I'm not the only one who cringed when they saw this. I will kill you if you cut me at the knees. You will drink with me when invited and stay til I say so. We only listen to American Music. I make men nervous with just my presence. I expect an apology if you hold. I throw linemen at QB's. Believe the Lore!

Pretty mediocre hire. The guy's a retread who failed with the Falcons. Tough talk? I'm sure the league is quaking (that was sarcasm). I imagine Jim Caldwell looks pretty good about now.

It's kind of sad because in spite of it all, the Lions are putting together a pretty good staff.

I can always count on the Lions to hire the wrong guy. Every time they hire a coach I think thank god they picked him!

It's going to be entertaining watching how the Lions spiral into a flaming pile of wreckage.

Actually comes across pretty thoughtful on this MacAfee interview
