The rest of my week 14 picks:

Keep in mind I do not use any point spreads, as they serve no purpose than for gamblers to try and take your money. When the day comes that they stop the game, add on the point spreads at the end, and THEN declare a winner, then point spreads will have an input. Of course if that day ever comes, I will cease watching the NFL.

I think I made almost the same picks. I kind of saw the Buffalo/Miami game as a toss-up. I guess Miami's playing a little better lately, but I think I picked Buffalo. No real reason though. I also picked the Texans over the p*ckers, but I never pick the p*ckers. I guess that's one good thing about the confidence points. I might be wrong, but I'll only lose 2 points on them. (The Bears got the 1 point game because I can't make myself pick against them no matter how little faith I have in them at this point.)

I despise that whole "confidence points" bullshit ... I will lobby hard to have next year's Pick 'Em set up without that crap

Me too, even though it occasionally helps me. Hell, I'm not doing all that bad so far. Last year I finished behind a couple people that actually gave up making picks mid-season.
