I’m honestly not. But he’s probably the most realistic option

There's some noise that he can go as high as 8, which is insane to me.

Wilson almost certainly will. He's got "the look."wab wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 2:20 pmAgreed. I’m thinking Lance might go before Fields.thunderspirit wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 1:58 pm

Re: QB Prospect Discussion: Mac Jones
Daniel Jeremiah ranks him 34th:
Jones has average size and athleticism for the quarterback position. He's operated out of the shotgun and pistol, showing incredible accuracy, efficiency and poise. He is a high-effort thrower, with slightly above-average arm strength. He's at his best on touch throws, where he can anticipate and place the ball on the proper shoulder of his target. He shows toughness to hang in versus pressure, although he rarely faced it with an elite offensive line protecting him. He isn't much of a threat as a runner and he lacks the twitch to consistently escape and buy extra time. Jones should become a starting NFL quarterback, but his lack of twitch and athleticism will limit the playbook with the way the game is trending.

If that “big armed athlete” is the type of guy you are after, you are gonna have to wait until next year.G08 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 5:31 pmDaniel Jeremiah ranks him 34th:

Re: QB Prospect Discussion: Mac Jones
Mac has modelled his game after Joe Burrows' 2019 season. He has tried to extend plays in the pocket like Burrows did last year. Both had great WRs and RBs. Can he duplicate Burows' success in the pros? Some like Charlie Weis think so, that Jones has both leadership skills and unbelievable accuracy. Others say that, if the Bears did draft him, he would be the starter from day 1.
T. Phillips: “Have we gotten the quarterback situation completely right? No. Have we won enough games? No. But everything else is there.”

Re: QB Prospect Discussion: Mac Jones
I honestly think Mac Jones at 20 is by far the best case scenario at this point this offseason. I would say it is only a 40% chance he would be on the board at this point unless he bombs his interviews or fights a MMA fighter in the bathroom at a bar.

Real question: Assuming he isn't injured beyond recognition - Would fighting an MMA fighter actually hurt his stock?
I think a lot of Football guys (and his potential teammates) might weirdly respect that

The Oklahoma WR did not fare too well in his bathroom brawl with a MMA fighter.
