NFL Draft Scout
Unsurprisingly, a generally very good board

TRADE PARTNER:
BUFFALO BILLS
SENT:
ROUND: 1 PICK: 8
RECEIVED:
ROUND: 1 PICK: 22
ROUND: 2 PICK: 21
ROUND: 3 PICK: 32
ROUND: 4 PICK: 21

I actually cut this back from what they offered. Even this feels a bit high.

=======================================================

22: R1P22
WR CHRISTIAN KIRK
TEXAS AM

39: R2P7
C/G BILLY PRICE
OHIO STATE

With Sitton gone, I don't think it means you have to get OL (there's still 9 bodies if Compton & Sowell come back), but does mean you can. This was too good to pass.

53: R2P21
OLB HAROLD LANDRY
BOSTON COLLEGE

I'm not a big fan, but this level is more where he belongs and there wasn't much choice left (barring Armstrong who is boarded absurdly low, so I abstained)

96: R3P32
WR EQUANIMEOUS ST. BROWN
NOTRE DAME

107: R4P5
ILB DARIUS LEONARD
SOUTH CAROLINA STATE

117: R4P15
E NATHAN SHEPHERD
FORT HAYS STATE

By April he may have risen well past R4, but for now he's got a ton of upside for this pick

123: R4P21
TE TROY FUMAGALLI
WISCONSIN

TRADE PARTNER:
CINCINNATI BENGALS
SENT:
ROUND: 5 PICK: 8
RECEIVED:
ROUND: 6 PICK: 13
ROUND: 7 PICK: 35

After 4 picks in less than 32 slots, there wasn't much left I wanted in this area.

184: R6P7
QB RILEY FERGUSON
MEMPHIS

190: R6P13
P JOHNNY TOWNSEND
FLORIDA

The P/K rankings are the worst part of this board. Most boards have them ridiculously low, this one has most of them ridiculously high. I think a more realistic board would have given
me a better P/K combo

224: R7P6
K MICHAEL BADGLEY
MIAMI (FL)

253: R7P35
ILB SHAUN DION HAMILTON
ALABAMA

Close to the only name left I recognized at this point

Custom board (modeled largely on draftanalyst.com's site), difficult setting with random other boards.

TRADE PARTNER:
BUFFALO BILLS
SENT:
ROUND: 1 PICK: 8

RECEIVED:
ROUND: 1 PICK: 22
ROUND: 2 PICK: 21
ROUND: 2 PICK: 24

1 - 22: MARCUS DAVENPORT, EDGE, TX-SAN ANTONIO
2 - 39: MARTINAS RANKIN, OT, MISSISSIPPI ST
2 - 53: JOSEY JEWELL, LB, IOWA

TRADE PARTNER:
NEW ORLEANS SAINTS
SENT:
ROUND: 2 PICK: 24

RECEIVED:
ROUND: 3 PICK: 27
ROUND: 4 PICK: 27
ROUND: 5 PICK: 27
This was a one-sided deal, but I really didn't like many choices at this point in this draft.

3 - 91: TIM SETTLE, DL, VIRGINIA TECH
I'm not sure how I feel about landing Settle — barring some surprise measurements, he's likely a NT and drafting him would probably mean losing Eddie Goldman.
4 - 107: KAMERON KELLY, CB/S, SAN DIEGO ST
4 - 117: JAYLEN SAMUELS, RB, NORTH CAROLINA ST
4 - 129: SCOTT QUESSENBERRY, C/G, UCLA
5 - 147: MICHAEL DICKSON, P, TEXAS
5 - 166: KOREY ROBERTSON, WR, S MISSISSIPPI
Overall, I was unhappy with where most of the receivers went, but landing Robertson was a nice consolation prize.
6 - 184: LEVI WALLACE, CB, ALABAMA
7 - 224: SHAQUEM GRIFFIN, LB, C FLORIDA

Matt Miller 3/20 and Difficulty - Hard

EDGE BRADLEY CHUBB
NC STATE

39: R2P7
G WILL HERNANDEZ

105: R4P5

Inexplicably, Chubb fell to 8 - and it was the easiest decision I've made in any mock draft simulator. Not sure how the difficulty was set to Hard and Chubb falls to 8? Seems unrealistic, but hey I'll take it!

Don't really need to explain this one.

39: R2 P7 G BRADEN SMITH AUBURN
Passed on Nelson but got his lighter clone.

105: R4 P5 OT ALEX CAPPA HUMBOLDT STATE
I agree this maybe a reach but he did standout in all star game. Worth taking a shot.

115: R4 P15 DL HARRISON PHILLIPS STANFORD
Safe pick and not to mention runs the same defense we run now.

145: R5 P8 EDGE ADE ARUNA TULANE
Ok boom or bust. 6'6" 266lbs with 4.6 speed. If Vic can't teach then no one can.

181: R6P7 CB ISAAC YIADOM BOSTON COLLEGE
Perfect Vic CB. Got the size and like to tackle. Needs coaching.

224: R7P6 OT COLE MADISON WASHINGTON STATE
Him or the Mountain. I took Cole the right side of Washington State dominated all year he was one of the reasons. Maybe can get the Mountain as an undrafted free agent.

Love the pass rusher/guard combo with the first two picks. I think that's the route we should take.

Draft Analyst board, Fanspeak needs

Draft Analyst had a couple "WTF, do these guys owe you money or something?" rankings, but I skipped taking those 3-4 and the rest was pretty good.

TRADES

TRADE PARTNER:
ARIZONA CARDINALS
SENT:
ROUND: 1 PICK: 8

ROUND: 3 PICK: 14

15: R1P15
OLB MARCUS DAVENPORT
UTSA

I'm not fixated on him as a player, but it just works perfectly to target in trade downs.

47: R2P15
WR DJ CHARK
LSU

I don't have faith in White to stay healthy, don't buy Gabriel as a starter, and want Meredith in the slot.

54: R2P22
G/T BRADEN SMITH
AUBURN

Despite the height, short arms make him a better inside candidate.

78: R3P14
ILB DARIUS LEONARD
SOUTH CAROLINA STATE

105: R4P5
E NATHAN SHEPHERD
WILLIE MAYS HAYS STATE

Lots of raw talent. Can learn while Bullard and RRH get their tries first.

115: R4P15
ILB FRED WARNER
BYU

145: R5P8
HB JAYLEN SAMUELS
NORTH CAROLINA STATE

Not necessary anymore, with Cunningham back, but still think he may be an upgrade.

152: R5P15
OLB ADE ARUNA
TULANE

Another raw talent with enough ahead of them to have time to develop

181: R6P7
P JOHN TOWNSEND
FLORIDA

224: R7P6
E BILAL NICHOLS
DELAWARE

Another small program stud for the PS

Lol, I know right. Funny thing was I kept redoing it, but some of these simulators are really funky. Twice Barkley was even there at 8 and I was like, umm no that isn't happening.

I mentioned in the other thread that i like Payne and see him as a starting 5T on week 1. I like the ILB pick and two shots at edge but puzzled by the OT picks. They're competing for swing tackle I guess?

Mikefive's theory: The only time you KNOW that a sports team player, coach or management member is being 100% honest is when they're NOT reciting "the company line".

He's a 5'11" Malcolm Brown in my opinion. Literally the only knock against the guy is height.

Some team is going to draft him in the 6/7th round and get a 10yr contributor.
