Interesting that BK says he's a fit for the Packers, but not for us, even though we run similar defenses. Or at least have been. His rationale seems to be their beef up front compared to ours, but Goldman and Hicks aren't chopped liver and if we snag another guy for that line in R2 or R3, that could change, right?

I thought the same thing about Trevathan when the Broncos announced that they were moving to a 3-4 several years ago.

I don't think it would happen and it's not what I'd do, but I think it would be really interesting to see what our D would look like if we drafted Smith to play inside and then followed up with a big blob guy like Harrison Phillips. With 3 310+# guys in front of him Roquan would be a mad man out there.
