Why would you spend a 3rd on a WR when the team is ostensibly deep at the position already?

Holy carp, I love this nearly every pick in this draft (I'm not even that high on Oliver, but as a 5th rounder he's good gamble).

I'm on the Mitch Hyatt bandwagon, FWIW.

Mitch Hyatt is going to be better than people are giving him credit for. His scouting report is similar to Leno... light, not big/strong enough but understand technique and how to play the position. Football IQ is high. He'd be a steal in R7.

I don't see that happening to the 4th round. But you could be right.

The first 3 picks are extremely dreamy but highly unrealistic lol. Which draft board did you use?

VERY unrealistic lol.

I used the same setup as you did:

- Draft Board: Bleacher Report - Matt Miller
- Team Needs: Fanspeak
- Difficulty Level: Difficult

Gotcha. I've recently been using The Draft Network as the UI is much nicer: https://thedraftnetwork.com/mock-draft-machine" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Although, they don't have as many draft boards to choose from, it's a nice change of pace. Maybe give that one a shot as well.

162 Mark Fields, CB Clemson
222 Oli Udoh, OT Elon
238 Austin Bryant, EDGE Clemson

Just did another on Draft Network.

R3-87. Darrell Henderson RB, Memphis
R4-126. Miles Boykin WR, Notre Dame
R5-162. Mike Edwards S, Kentucky
R7-222. Clayton Thorson QB, Northwestern
R7-238. Austin Bryant EDGE, Clemson

Henderson was a no brainer in R3. In R4 decided to go outside the box and take Boykin and think we can turn him into a pretty good U TE in Nagy's offense and could replace Burton after the 2020 season. Edwards was great value in R5 - I like his skill set a lot for such a late pick. Thorson was a value pick in R7 and could be a nice developmental QB to stash on the roster.

I'm classifying this one under "TMP Had Too Much Caffeine This Morning", but the results look really fun and I am proud:

87: R3P23
RB MILES SANDERS
PENN STATE

(Sanders is MY GUY in this draft. We get him I'm happy.)

126: R4P24
RB DEVIN SINGLETARY
FLORIDA ATLANTIC

(Yes I took two RBs with the first two picks. We have a RB problem I say we fix the RB problem. With these two guys and Cohen we could easily have the best RB group in the NFL. Get me some two back sets with Sanders and then Singletary or Cohen as the second and oh wow the possibilities.)

162: R5P24
TE KENDALL BLANTON
MISSOURI

(A nice big target that can also block. Huge help in the red zone.)

The remainder of the draft I went BPA and with a preference to the OL.

222: R7P8
G NATE HERBIG
STANFORD

238: R7P24
C NICK LINDER
INDIANA

Updated today using The Draft Network:

87. Josh Oliver TE, San Jose State
126. Justice Hill RB, Oklahoma State
162. Sheldrick Redwine S, Miami
222. Mitch Hyatt OT, Clemson
238. Montre Hartage CB, Northwestern

Henderson and Sanders were off the board, so I took the best TE available. I could have taken Montgomery or Harris in R4 but chose Justice Hill over them due to his athleticism and speed.

Thanks man! I can't wait to see how it all unfolds the next 48 hours.
