For those who want to keep track of who the Bears have met with.

Is it bad that it's so widely known that the Bears are going to draft a RB? Do you think teams will jump ahead of the Bears to draft "their" guy? This is why I feel like Pace is going to move up to get the RB he wants to avoid any other teams jumping ahead of him if he just stays at 87. I prefer that we don't trade up for a RB because there's a lot of talent in the mid rounds that are fairly similar in grades - but in Pace we trust!

They might not. They might just sign UDFAs.

It's not out of the question. I know we as fans are obsessing over the RB's in this draft, but the reality is we only have 5 picks and RB from a positional value standpoint isn't as high as say CB, S, OT and Edge. We have very little depth at these positions.

Ian Rapoport

@RapSheet

Small school alert, Part 1: San Jose St TE Josh Oliver is visiting with the #Bears on Tuesday, source said. He’s been to the #Jaguars, #Vikings, Broncos and #Steelers, while working out privately for the #Cowboys, #Giants and others. He is a likely early Friday pick.

I've been looking at Oliver a lot. I think he's my pick in the 3rd followed by T. Williams or B. Love in the 4th.

Interesting. Ian Rappaport mentioned on Twitter that Oliver is likely early Day 2 pick - don't think he lasts to 87 if that's case. The more I see where the Bears are concentrating on their pre-draft workouts/visits the more I think the Bears definitely come away with a TE and a RB from this draft. I didn't really consider TE seriously all that much up until about a couple of weeks ago. But Shaheen being such a huge question mark and Trey Burton being overpaid, it sort of makes sense to have another young guy in the pipeline that Nagy likes - that can play the U or Y TE and have that flexibility. Because when you think about it, Trey Burton is making a lot of money for average production - he could be a cap casualty after the 2020 season - having his replacement on the roster would be nice.

One absence on this list which sticks out to me is Darrin Hall from Pitt, who was at the Shrine Game. His skill set and tape seems to fit what Nagy has in mind, so I'm kind of surprised they didn't meet with him there.
