Admittedly with the Bears not picking until the third round, I haven't put much effort into mock drafts this year (you may have noticed, and you probably didn't care).

Still, I couldn't NOT do one. So here it is... enjoy. Or don't.

1. Arizona : Kyler Murray QB Oklahoma
I don’t think this is a surprise any longer. As far as Rosen is concerned, for the purposes of this mock draft, he goes to Washington for a 2nd and 3rd and a 2nd next year.

2. San Francisco : Quinnen Williams DL Alabama
The Niners have invested a lot in their DE’s recently, so they should look to Williams to strengthen the interior. He’s also arguably the best player in the draft.

3. NY Jets : Josh Allen EDGE Kentucky
Allen over Bosa? Honestly this is simply a question of fit. Allen is better suited for the hybrid role he’d play in the Jets defense. I could see them trading out of this pick though.

4. Oakland : Nick Bosa EDGE Ohio St.
It’s not out of the realm of possibility that Bosa is available for the Raiders at #4. After losing Mack, this would be an ideal scenario for them.

5. Tampa Bay : Montez Sweat EDGE Miss. State
The run on edge defenders continues. Sweat was diagnosed with a heart condition, but it’s apparently nothing serious. I think this is a bit of a reach, but he’d fit the Bucs new defense like a glove.

6. NY Giants : Daniel Jones QB Duke
They didn’t just trade away the only player that challenged Eli Manning’s authority to draft a QB that will challenge Eli Manning’s authority. Having said that, Manning and Jones are close personally and Jones has voiced his desire to continue to be mentored by Manning in the NFL, so this is a relationship that could work well. His stock is also on the rise.

7. Jacksonville : Jawaan Taylor OL Florida
It’s hard to pin down the Jags needs, but the OL was decimated last year and their new QB is a statue. This would allow Cam Robinson to slide over to RT where he might be more consistent.

8. Atlanta f/DET : Ed Oliver DL Houston
TRADE - Oliver is a bit of a wild card, but he’s one of my favorite players in the draft. His versatility is a match made in heaven for this defense.

9. Oakland f/BUF : Drew Lock QB Missouri
TRADE – No, it’s not Haskins. John Gruden has a tough time hiding his love for Lock’s athletic skills. He better pan out though, because they basically traded Khalil Mack and Amari Cooper for him. Carr gets traded after the season.

10. Denver : Devin White LB LSU
The middle is what makes Vic Fangio’s defense go, and White is the best LB in the draft. Don’t be surprised though if this pick is a bit unconventional and turns out to be a TE like Noah Fant.

11. Cincinnati : Rashan Gary DL Michigan
I wouldn’t be shocked if the Bengals take a QB or try to deal for Rosen and punt Andy Dalton to the Redskins for a 3rd rounder. As it stands, they could use a talent like Gary on their DL.

12. Green Bay : Josh Jacobs RB Alabama
The first “wait, what?” pick. This might be high, but they have got to get the running game right and Zach Taylor knows the running game takes pressure off of the QB. If they want to compete in the NFC North, they need to be more balanced and keep Rodgers healthy.

13. Miami : Dwayne Haskins QB Ohio St.
The Fins may be trying to actively tank, but if Haskins is here they can’t not take him.

14. Detroit f/ATL : Greedy Williams CB LSU
The Lions filled some holes in free agency, so it makes sense to find a guy to pair with Darius Slay. There’s a lot throwing going on in this division.

15. Washington : D.K. Metcalf WR Ole Miss
Washington will come out of this draft with a veteran QB, so why not get a big body who can move real fast to throw to.

16. Carolina : Andre Dillard OL Washington St.
This will be a tough decision for the Panthers. They desperately need a pass rusher, but they need a left tackle just as badly. Luckily the draft is deep at pass rusher.

17. NY Giants f/CLE : Brian Burns EDGE Florida St.
The Giants have exactly zero pass rushers. Burns fills a huge hole and is a great value here.

18. Minnesota : Jonah Williams OL Alabama
Williams is the best OL in the draft, but everyone has concerns about his size and arm length. Whatever, dude is a stud. He can play LG until they finally decide Riley Reiff isn’t any good sometime in November.

19. Tennessee : Noah Fant TE Iowa
Fant is arguably a top 10 pick, but it’s always a tough sell to pick a TE that high.

20. Pittsburgh : Devin Bush LB Michigan
I think they’d prefer to have Fant fall to them, and I’m a little concerned about Bush’s size in this defense, but he’s a leader and a fearless player that overcomes his 5’11 stature.

21. Seattle : Byron Murphy CB Washington
The Legion of Boom is no more, so it’s time to rebuild.

22. Baltimore : Clelin Ferrell EDGE Clemson
The Ravens are almost forced to take a pass rusher here, and they’d be fortunate to find Clelin Ferrell still on the board.

23. Houston : Greg Little OL Ole Miss
Little was once considered a top tier prospect, and I don’t know why his stock has dipped. The Texans need someone to protect Watson and Little has the potential to be a 10yr starter.

24. Buffalo f/OAK (CHI) : T.J. Hockenson TE Iowa
Buffalo moves out of the top 10 and gets a top target for Josh Allen.
25. Philadelphia : Cody Ford OL Oklahoma
Ford is very similar to Jason Peters and the left side of the line is in flux. Ford will be a big help either at guard or tackle.

26. Indianapolis : Christian Wilkins DL Clemson
In any other draft, Wilkins is a top 15 pick.

27. Buffalo f/OAK (DAL) : Deandre Baker CB Georgia
On the surface it may not seem like they need a DB, but Baker is an absolute steal here. He’s tailor made for the slot.

28. LA Chargers : Jeffery Simmons DL Miss. State
Simmons talent is undeniable, but his red flags and injury will drop him. He’s a great fit and value here though.

29. Kansas City : Dalton Risner OL Kansas St.
Risner is incredibly versatile and fits the physical mold of KC offensive linemen. He can play anywhere on the line but would ostensibly replace Mitch Morse at center. With the 1st round pass rushing talent gone, this would be the perfect pick.

30. Green Bay f/NO : Marquise Brown WR Oklahoma
Brown is a direct replacement for Randall Cobb and adds some much needed speed to the WR corps.

31. LA Rams : Dexter Lawrence DL Clemson
Lawrence is an animal. Not since Haloti Ngata have I seen a man this size move this well. Again, in any other draft, he’s long gone.

32. New England : Parris Campbell WR Ohio St.
Who knows what they are going to do. All I know is that they valued Cordarrelle Patterson and Campbell has a similar skill set. He can actually play WR too.

2nd Round
33. Arizona : Garrett Bradbury OL NC State
34. Indianapolis f/NYJ : Rock Ya-Sin CB Temple
35. Oakland : Miles Sanders RB Penn St.
36. San Francisco : Johnathan Abram S Miss. State

38. Jacksonville : Irv Smith Jr. TE Alabama
39. Tampa Bay : Taylor Rapp S Washington
40. Buffalo : Yodny Cajuste OL West Virginia
41. Denver : Chauncey Gardner-Johnson S Florida
42. Cincinnati : Will Grier QB West Virginia
43. Detroit : Mack Wilson LB Alabama
44. Green Bay : Chris Lindstrom OL Boston College
45. Atlanta : David Montgomery RB Iowa St.
46. Arizona f/WASH : Kelvin Harmon WR NC State
47. Carolina : Jaylon Ferguson EDGE Louisiana Tech
48. Miami : Zach Allen DL Boston College
49. Cleveland : Dre'Mont Jones DL Ohio St.
50. Minnesota : Erik McCoy OL Texas A&M
51. Tennessee : Jachai Polite EDGE Florida
52. Pittsburgh : N'Keal Harry WR Arizona St.
53. Philadelphia f/BAL : Amani Oruwariye CB Penn St.
54. Houston f/SEA : Trayvon Mullen CB Clemson
55. Houston : Nasir Adderley S Delaware
56. New England f/CHI : Ryan Finley QB NC State
57. Philadelphia : Damien Harris RB Alabama
58. Dallas : Jerry Tillery DL Notre Dame
59. Indianapolis : Hakeem Butler WR Iowa St.
60. LA Chargers : Darnell Savage, Jr. S Maryland
61. Kansas City : Chase Winovich EDGE Michigan
62. New Orleans : Miles Boykin WR Notre Dame
63. Kansas City f/LAR : Deionte Thompson S Alabama
64. New England : Kaleb McGary OL Washington

3rd Round
65. Arizona : Tre Lamar LB Clemson
66. Pittsburgh f/OAK : Jalen Jelks EDGE Oregon
67. San Francisco : Deebo Samuel WR South Carolina
68. NY Jets : Connor McGovern OL Penn St.
69. Jacksonville : Joe Jackson EDGE Miami (Fla.)
70. Tampa Bay : Devin Singletary RB FAU
71. NY Giants - Forfeited :
72. Denver : D'Andre Walker EDGE Georgia
73. Cincinnati : Germaine Pratt LB NC State
74. New England f/DET : Trysten Hill DL UCF
75. Buffalo : JJ Arcega-Whiteside WR Stanford
76. Green Bay : Juan Thornhill S Virginia
77. Washington : Oshane Ximines EDGE Old Dominion
78. Carolina : Amani Hooker S Iowa
79. Miami : Austin Bryant EDGE Clemson
80. Detroit f/ATL : Emanuel Hall WR Missouri
81. Cleveland : T.J. Edwards LB Wisconsin
82. Minnesota : Kris Boyd CB Texas
83. Tennessee : Darrell Henderson RB Memphis
84. Pittsburgh : Jace Sternberger TE Texas A&M
85. Seattle : Elgton Jenkins OL Miss. State
86. Baltimore : Terry McLaurin WR Ohio St.
87. Houston : Kaden Smith TE Stanford

88. Chicago : Josh Oliver TE San Jose St.
Yes, Tre Burton had a career year, but it still wasn’t great. The Bears can also get out of his contract pretty easily after the season. Adam Shaheen was a 2nd round pick, but he was drafted for a different offense and hasn’t exactly been productive when healthy. Pace hasn’t hesitated in quickly correcting mistakes, and the TE position has been just that. Oliver was originally recruited to play a rush end/linebacker, so he’s still pretty new to the position. His athletic ability is off the charts and he seems to check all the boxes that Pace looks for in a player.

89. Detroit f/PHI : Lonnie Johnson CB Kentucky
90. Indianapolis : Elijah Holyfield RB Georgia
91. Dallas : Julian Love CB Notre Dame
92. LA Chargers : David Edwards OL Wisconsin
93. Kansas City : Rodney Anderson RB Oklahoma
94. NY Jets f/NO : Andy Isabella WR Massachusetts
95. LA Rams : Tytus Howard OL Alabama State
96. NY Giants f/NE : Joejuan Williams CB Vanderbilt
97. Arizona f/WASH : Bryce Love RB Stanford
98. New England : Drew Sample TE Washington
99. Jacksonville f/LAR : Michael Jordan OL Ohio St.
100. LA Rams : Christian Miller EDGE Alabama
101. Carolina : David Long CB Michigan
102. New England : Nate Davis OL Charlotte
103. Baltimore : Riley Ridley WR Georgia

4th Round
104. Arizona : Bobby Evans OL Oklahoma
105. San Francisco : Vosean Joseph LB Florida
106. NY Jets : Anthony Nelson DL Iowa
107. Oakland : Sutton Smith LB N. Illinois
108. Tampa Bay : Jarrett Stidham QB Auburn
109. NY Giants : Terrill Hanks LB New Mexico St.
110. Jacksonville : Tyree Jackson QB Buffalo
111. Cincinnati : Max Scharping OL N. Illinois
112. Detroit : Benny Snell RB Kentucky
113. Buffalo : Carl Granderson EDGE Wyoming
114. Baltimore f/DEN : Te'von Coney LB Notre Dame
115. Green Bay : Ben Banogu EDGE TCU
116. Carolina : Ross Pierschbacher OL Alabama
117. Miami : Justice Hill RB Oklahoma St.
118. Atlanta : Michael Deiter OL Wisconsin
119. Green Bay f/WASH : Isaiah Prince OL Ohio St.
120. Cleveland : Maxx Crosby EDGE E. Michigan
121. Minnesota : Devine Ozigbo RB Nebraska
122. Tennessee : Justin Layne CB Michigan St.
123. Pittsburgh : Corey Ballentine CB Washburn
124. Baltimore : Jamel Dean CB Auburn
125. Seattle : Jaquan Johnson S Miami (Fla.)
126. Denver f/HOU : Jalen Hurd WR Baylor

127. Chicago : Trayveon Williams RB Texas A&M
Miles Sanders is who I’d prefer, but he went to the Raiders in R2. I’ve been talking about Williams for a couple months now and how good of a fit he is in the Bears offense, which is nearly identical to the A&M offense. Some people say he may be a bit on the undersized side, but at 5’9 and 210lbs, he’s big enough for an NFL RB. He’s a tough runner with speed and agility. His leadership and football character is off the charts.

128. Philadelphia : Gerald Willis III DL Miami (Fla.)
129. Dallas : Anthony Johnson WR Buffalo
130. Indianapolis : Drue Tranquill LB Notre Dame
131. LA Chargers : David Sills V WR West Virginia
132. Buffalo f/KC : Marvell Tell III S USC
133. NY Giants f/NO : Renell Wren DL Arizona St.
134. LA Rams : Dexter Williams RB Notre Dame
135. New England : Jordan Brailford EDGE Oklahoma St.
136. Indianapolis : Chuma Edoga OL USC
137. Dallas : Lamont Gaillard OL Georgia
138. Atlanta : Clayton Thorson QB Northwestern
139. Philadelphia : Penny Hart WR Georgia St.

5th Round
140. Arizona : Tommy Sweeney TE Boston College
141. Oakland f/NYJ : Marquise Blair S Utah
142. Pittsburgh f/OAK : Myles Gaskin RB Washington
143. NY Giants f/SF : Ben Powers OL Oklahoma
144. NY Giants : Mike Weber RB Ohio St.
145. Cleveland f/JAX : Olisaemeka Udoh OL Elon
146. Tampa Bay : Charles Omenihu DL Texas
147. Detroit : Porter Gustin EDGE USC
148. Buffalo : Ryquell Armstead RB Temple
149. Denver : Mitch Hyatt OL Clemson
150. Cincinnati : Michael Jackson CB Miami (Fla.)
151. Green Bay : Dawson Knox TE Ole Miss
152. Miami : Cole Tracy K LSU
153. Atlanta : Isaiah Johnson CB Houston
154. Washington : Beau Benzschawel OL Wisconsin
155. Carolina : Caleb Wilson TE UCLA
156. Cleveland : Dru Samia OL Oklahoma
157. Denver f/MIN : Kahale Warring TE San Diego St.
158. Tennessee : Mike Edwards S Kentucky
159. Buffalo f/PIT : Kendall Sheffield CB Ohio St.
160. Seattle : Foster Moreau TE LSU
161. Baltimore : Jalin Moore RB App. St.
162. Houston : Isaiah Buggs DL Alabama

163. Chicago : Sheldrick Redwine S Miami (Fla.)
I like this dude. He can play corner or safety, which is exactly what Pace looks for in his DBs. He’s still a bit of a project though, which is why he’s available in the 5th round. He’s an aggressive, versatile DB who lacks some consistency in coverage, but possesses good ball skills and is more than willing in run support. He’d be an immediate special teams contributor at the bare minimum.

164. Philadelphia : Sean Bunting S C. Michigan
165. Indianapolis : David Long Jr. LB West Virginia
166. Dallas : Shareef Miller EDGE Penn St.
167. LA Chargers : Saivion Smith CB Alabama
168. Kansas City : Darius Slayton WR Auburn

170. LA Rams : Isaac Nauta TE Georgia
171. Cleveland f/NE : Hamp Cheevers CB Boston College
172. NY Giants : Alize Mack TE Notre Dame
173. Atlanta : Lil'Jordan Humphrey WR Texas
174. Washington : Terry Beckner, Jr. DL Missouri

193. Baltimore f/TEN : Dax Raymond TE Utah St.
194. Pittsburgh : Mike Bell S Fresno St.
195. Baltimore : Albert Huggins DL Clemson
196. Green Bay f/SEA : Rashad Fenton CB South Carolina
197. Houston : Jordan Scarlett RB Florida
198. NY Jets f/CHI : Iman Marshall CB USC
199. Philadelphia : Landis Durham EDGE Texas A&M
200. Cincinnati f/DAL : Terry Godwin WR Georgia
201. Indianapolis : Khalen Saunders DL Western Illinois
202. LA Chargers : Mitch Wishnowsky P Utah
203. Kansas City : Wyatt Ray EDGE Boston College

211. Minnesota : Joe Giles-Harris LB Duke
212. Cincinnati : Wes Hills RB Slippery Rock
213. Cincinnati : Justin Hollins EDGE Oregon
214. San Francisco : Paul Adams OL Missouri
215. Cincinnati : Zach Gentry TE Michigan
216. Kansas City : Josiah Tauaefa LB UT-San Antonio

7th Round
217. Tampa Bay f/AZ : Dennis Daley OL South Carolina
218. Kansas City f/SF : Kingsley Keke DL Texas A&M
219. NY Jets : Dakota Allen LB Texas Tech
220. Oakland : Keelan Doss WR UC Davis
221. Pittsburgh f/TB : Gary Johnson LB Texas
222. Houston f/NYG : Tyler Jones OL NC State
223. Cleveland f/JAX : Trace McSorley QB Penn St.

224. Chicago f/PHI : Jesse Burkett OL Stanford
I really wanted an offensive lineman before the 7th round, but it just didn’t fall that way. Burkett is one of the better moving linemen in the draft and is especially good at getting into the second level. He’s not very powerful though, so that limits him. He’s got some scheme versatility though and can play guard or center. He’s not the small school project that Pace leans towards in the later rounds, but he’s a reasonable pick at this point in the draft.

225. Cincinnati : Javon Patterson OL Ole Miss
226. Detroit : Brett Rypien QB Boise St.
227. Buffalo : Cody Barton LB Utah
228. Green Bay : Byron Cowart DL Maryland
229. Washington : Ryan Bates OL Penn St.
230. Buffalo f/CAR : Diontae Johnson WR Toledo
231. Detroit f/MIA : Donald Parham TE Stetson
232. Atlanta : William Sweet OL North Carolina
233. New Orleans f/CLE : Gardner Minshew II QB Washington St.
234. NY Giants f/MIN : Darryl Johnson, Jr. EDGE North Carolina A&T
235. Miami f/TEN : Kendall Joseph LB Clemson
236. Miami f/PIT : Calvin Anderson OL Rice
237. Oakland f/SEA : Chidi Okeke OL Tennessee State
238. Jacksonville f/BAL : Jamal Davis II EDGE Akron
239. Denver f/HOU : Trey Pipkins OL Sioux Falls

240. Chicago : Taryn Christion QB South Dakota State
If you don’t know who this is, you should look him up. He’s one of the most prolific players in the FCS and I’ve had my eye on him for a while. He has an unbelievable arm and can make incredibly athletic plays with his feet. Mitch is obviously the present and the future of the team, but taking a player that brings this kind of excitement to groom is a no brainer.

241. New England f/PHI : Greg Gaines DL Washington
242. Indianapolis : Jake Bailey P Stanford
243. Dallas : Bruce Anderson RB North Dakota State
244. LA Chargers : Nick Fitzgerald QB Miss. State
245. New England f/KC : Tony Pollard RB Memphis
246. New Orleans : Tyler Roemer OL San Diego St.
247. NY Giants f/LAR : D'Cota Dixon S Wisconsin
248. New England : Felton Davis III WR Michigan St.
249. Minnesota : Amani Bledsoe DL Oklahoma
250. Arizona : Montre Hartage CB Northwestern
251. Arizona : PJ Johnson DL Sacramento State
252. Minnesota : Easton Stick QB North Dakota State
253. LA Rams : Zedrick Woods S Ole Miss
254. New England : Alex Bars OL Notre Dame
255. Washington : Ken Webster CB Ole Miss
256. Arizona : Andre James OL UCLA

Nice job but I think the Bears picks are off by one pick in most rounds. CBS just did a 7 round mock draft and these were there picks:

ROUND OVERALL PLAYER NOTES
3 87 RB Miles Sanders, Penn State
4 126 OLB Jalen Jelks, Oregon
5 162 ILB T.J. Edwards, Wisconsin
7 222 CB Hamp Cheevers, Boston College from DEN
7 238 S/CB Ugochukwu Amadi, Oregon

You have the Bears first pick at 88, then R4 at 127, etc. Just an FYI.

The Giants forfeited pick is still counted in there. I was too lazy to take it out. I told you it was half assed.

I've been watching RB tape over the last week and agree that Trayveon looks like he could be a good fit. I didn't look for anyone's comments first, so I didn't see yours before I drew a similar conclusion.
Mikefive's theory: The only time you KNOW that a sports team player, coach or management member is being 100% honest is when they're NOT reciting "the company line".

Go back to leather helmets, NFL.
