A lot of faster than anticipated times - and the fastest ones were usually big guys, too.

R3/4 could be a really prime area to get speed help.

There's a deep enough pool this year. A Gabriel replacement should be available with the 4th comp pick. WR is one of those positions where it's difficult to predict success. Numerous guys not taken in high rounds are successful.
Where are my old Chicago Bears and what have you done with them, Ryan Poles?

Not knowledgeable about this draft; where the drop-offs are at each position, but am hoping Pace trades down (unless a steal is on the board) with at least one of the 2s so they can nab a speed WR in the 3-4 range before their presumed late 4 comp slot.

It would be a first for Pace but he needs to consider this. He should be able to snag a lower round 2nd and a 4th for either of the 2nd rounders.

It would hardly be a first for Pace to trade down in Round 2. In 2016 he traded down in Round 2 twice before drafting Cody Whitehair, and in 2017 he traded down in Round 2 before drafting Adam Shaheen. In each case he picked up a 4th as part of the trade.
KFFL refugee.

Screw the speed. No one in Canton has ever ran a sub 4.4 in the 40 at the WR position.

We need a legit 2nd option first. Whether it be TE or WR we need a second option and it can't be Cohen. Unless we move Cohen to the slot, hmm now that maybe interesting?

Antonio Gandy-Golden did everything I thought he would. Still my favorite WR in this class. He caught the ball effortlessly and was one of only a handful of guys who actually ran a straight line on the gauntlet. Think bigger and stronger Allen Robinson.

Van Jefferson is growing on me, great bloodlines there. According to the guys talking possible a great slot WR in the making who may be available in the 5th or 6th due to his injury and the depth of this class.

I am not saying we don't need a speed guy. But if we get a legit number 2 WR, well we have have that threat to bring in. Patterson and Cohen can fill that need for us. If you just wanna keep a defense honest.
