Haven't heard of any of those guys. We're there any notable guys who dropped out of the draft this year?

McSwain is interesting. A big body that might turn into part of the rotation at five-technique.

I hope turns out better than Urlacher's brother's signing..

Has some quality
In 2019, Mack had 24 tackles, including 11 tackles for loss, eight sacks, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries at Buffalo.

Surprised he went undrafted. Would have been a great get for the Bears considering they didn't draft anyone.

But he has a good opportunity in Seattle. Wilson is their only QB listed on the roster, though I thought I heard they signed the one XFL guy. Still, probably better odds for Gordon to make the roster there than here where he has to stick as a 3rd QB.

We signed some G from Yale. I never count out the Ivy Leaguers when it comes to playing OG in the NFL. The position is so complex.

his highlights are pretty funny. another case like lachavious where he often looks like a man amongst boys. It's gotta be so hard for an OL to develop when you're just stronger than the competition.

Of course that's a highlight reel. But it looks like teams often don't send a pass rusher against him. So his LT linemate makes sure he doesn't get beat to the outside because he has ridiculous help inside. That looks like some other sport besides football. lol

Damn, that's better than the LaChavious. You know, a lot of people are upset with our seventh rounders (and this guy for that matter) because they've never heard of them. Personally, I think not knowing them is a good thing. You know why? Because every lineman that I knew that was left in the seventh, SUCKED ASS! These three guys all seem to have attitude. I like mean and nasty in my offensive lineman. And bullying defenders into the ground helps as well.

Great quote there from legend Jackie Slater who had a chance to spend some time with Dieter at the NFLPA Bowl Game in Jan.

I saw another article where an NFC coach nicknamed Dieter "the Ivy League Dirt Bag" which is a great frickin nickname.

Of the guys so far Pierce seems like the best chance to make the roster (and he'd likely be beating out his former teammate, Nall).

It won't take much.

If Lucas had returned here, I think I would have been calling for him to replace Massie again by Week 4.

Well, the other DC isn't not sending pass rushers at Dieter because he sucks at his position. It looks like they are flat out trying to avoid him. He reaches a lot though, and is pretty slow, but he will be an interesting story to watch.

I have several questions about the Mack younger brother

Attended a High School that didn't have Football - after his brother is a top 10 pick?

Let me check my math actually - I guess High School and College both count year wise - Doh

But he would have still been at the non- Football High School after it was apparent his brother was kind of a big deal right?

Or is my math just awful

Good athlete, but given that he's really sub 5'11 234, I'm not sure what position he is.

More than most years, these all seem like pity-picks to me. Successful UDFAs are usually a surprise, but I'm not seeing a Braunecker, Robertson-Harris, or Toliver in this bunch. Last year's crop of UDFAs produced 6 (way too many) who actually played in the regular season and are still with the team. Nothing like that will happen this year.
So if these are pity-picks, I guess my favorite, most pitiable player, has to be WR Ahmad Wagner who led his team in TD receptions with 2 (one more than one). He was not, however, his team's leading receiver. That was his QB.
The pickup I don't care for is ILB Rashad Smith. Now, I can't just type "Smith," or even "RSmith." Now it has to be "RaSmith" or "RoSmith." Probably not for long, though.
