Say a team automatically gets the 1st Pick this upcoming draft I.E. Trevor Lawrence

What teams trade that pick - what teams pick him even though they "seem" to have a QB

The only team in the NFL that would trade out of the chance to draft Lawrence is probably the Chiefs.

That's what I was thinking - a few close calls in certain places - but that was the only DEFINITE one

I think the Texans trade out of that spot as well. Seahawks. Buccaneers.

Chiefs and maybe the Ravens. I think the Texans would take Lawrence and trade Watson. Brady is going to be 44 before next season. They'd happily let Lawrence sit behind Brady for a year.

Same with Seattle. Wilson will be 33 by the end of next season, he could sit behind Wilson for a couple of years.

Why??? Texans?

You got a guy who isn't playing super well (They are not even a top 10 Offense - and the points per game is poor)

And that's with most of the Offense healthy

Oh yeah - You get to pay him $40 Million a season rather than 36 Million for FOUR Seasons

Bucs? Tom Brady is 40+. They pick Lawrence in a heartbeat (There is maybe an argument if he sits a year - Zero argument they take him)

Seahawks - I think that's a debate at least

On Ravens - you have to look at two things:
1) Playing style - Lamar's style doesn't typically age great
2) Contract - He can be extended after this year - 1 cheap year left , 1 more expensive but not as expensive as open market year after that

Lawrence you get 4 cheap years
