I think I read somewhere in here that more QBs picked in two different top spots (3 and 4) have produced more success than the top spot. I'm not sure how much the top spot is weighted in terms of the expected talent... I think it is weighted (valued) more heavily simply because it provides complete control. But it seems fairly obvious that two chances at a 1 in 3 game are better than one. If math matters.

It was my thread about Pace that I went through all the QBs drafted and top 3 in career yards (which does not necessarily mean best QB) per year. It was about 1 out of 5 of the top QB drafted had the most career yards.
That being said, Trevor Lawrence looks to be totally legit and I would be surprised if he does NOT have the best career of any the rest this year.

Where do we feel Lawrence measures up with Luck. Luck was considered the last guy considered a "generational" talent at QB and even before the early retirement he'll go down as 2nd best QB in his draft. Before Luck, I feel like none was as supposed of a sure thing since Peyton Manning, although some may argue Bradford who arguably would have gone number 1 if he had come out the year before as well.Z Bear wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 3:02 pm It was my thread about Pace that I went through all the QBs drafted and top 3 in career yards (which does not necessarily mean best QB) per year. Wilson is a guy that scares me thou8gh I have no reason why. Just a gut feeling.
Kinda of like when Trubisky came out. I think only two QB's in this draft are first round talent. Lawrence and Fields. The rest are 2nd rounders.
Then again I thought only Watson was a 1st round talent when he came out, Unlike the rest of the world I admit I missed on Mahomeboy as well.
