I think it was at the end of our 6 game slide I saw a mock draft that projected us taking him at 8 or so. I thought “no way” there are way too many better players to take there.

After watching the first half of the game tonight, I was wrong. I may now rate him ahead of Penei Sewell.

Smith was ridiculous last night, but he also got hurt. And at like 170 lbs those durability concerns are going to follow him to the NFL.

Still, you are right. I think he goes top 5.
