The kid is simply electric on the field and his showcase in the championship game really made me fall in love with him. That said he is likely a bit under 170 pounds (didn't step on a scale at the senior bowl).
His size is a huge concern to some teams I think and it very well may drop him out of the top 10.
That said what should the Bears do if he slides to 20? If Robinson leaves, can we go into next year with him and Mooney thought to be our top 2 WRs? Both would be less than 175 pounds.
As much as I'd love to see him in a Bears' uniform, I don't know how comfortable I'd be with that.
I bring this up as this guy has him slipping to us. https://touchdownwire.usatoday.com/list ... ock-draft/
Thoughts?

This draft has a lot of electric little receivers.
Given that Mooney is pretty locked in as a starter and Arob leaving seems almost certain to me, I have no interest in bringing on another tiny WR to start.

If Smith is there at 20, there shouldn't be a decision to make unless one of the top 4 QB's slides.
I just can't see a scenario where he makes it out of the top 10-12.

Literally the only things that might keep him out of the top 5 is four QBs and a thin-framed body.
KFFL refugee.

Yeah. I mean if he weighed 200lbs he'd go #2.thunderspirit wrote: ↑Mon Feb 01, 2021 12:01 pm Literally the only things that might keep him out of the top 5 is four QBs and a thin-framed body.
His slight build is concerning though. He's roughly the same size as Mooney, and Mooney looks bigger.

I'm also editing the OP because the butchered spelling of his name is driving me nuts. Danvta?
