Trade DOWN #20
Bears Trade #20 and 2022 2nd Round Pick to Ravens for Orlando Brown, #27, and 2022 3rd Round Pick
#27. Z. Collins - "LB" - Tulsa
I think he is an absolute talent that can do a bit of everything - Someone made a Demarcus Ware comp - and I like it. He has a TON of versatility too - can rush the passer but can be more solid than you'd think in coverage - Has some size too (265-270) so he could hold the edge better than expected
This will - most likely - be Quinn's last year here (and you are not actually guaranteed much production) - I already plan on spending Quinns money on Brown going forward
The draft is also pretty light at this position
#52 Trade Down - Jacksonville - We get picks 65 and 106 (3rd and 4th Rounds)
#65 Elijah Molden - CB Washington
I have NO feel for this year's CB group - But this pick is almost pigeonholed into being a CB
#83 - Spencer Brown - OT Northern Iowa
He needs to work on his technique - Everything else is in place - Size and Temperment
#106 Davis Mills - QB Stanford. (Also considered Trask)
I would not taken Kellen Mond at all unless its like a 6th
ROUND 4 TRADE UP
Late Round 4 Trade up (6th and pick next year)
WR- Eskridge - WR Western Michigan
Speed. This is a great draft for WR - I would take 2-3 honestly.
If Eskridge is gone - I would probably take Nico Collins instead
Round 5 - Hamlin - DB Pittsburgh
I think he is a 10 year SS in the league.
I get TJ Ward comps
Round 5 - Anthony Miller traded -
Amari Rodgers - WR Clemson
I think he's just excellent. Just a Professional WR that can do most of the things you want
3 6ths
Best Available guys I'm seeing in this "range" that I like:
Dylan Moses - LB Alabama
Elerson Smith - OLB - Northern Iowa
Ben Mason - FB
Tre McKitty - TE
Felton - HB UCLA
Wade - CB tOSU (betting on talent more than game film)
6th - Elerson Smith - Northern Iowa
6th Tre McKitty - TE Georgia
Trade down
7th. St. Juste - CB Minnesota
7th - Felton - HB UCLA unless Trey Sermon was somehow still on the Board
Players/Picks
1. Z. Collins LB- Tulsa
Orlando Brown - LT - Ravens
3. E. Molden - CB - Washington
3. Spencer Brown - OT Northern Iowa
4. Davis Mills - QB Stanford
4. Eskridge - WR Western Michigan
5. Rodgers - WR Clemson
5. Hamlin - S - Pitt
6. Elerson Smith - OLB - Northern Iowa
6. Tre McKitty - TE Georgia
7. St. Juste - CB Minnesota
7. Felton - HB/WR UCLA
Priority FAs:
Powell - WR Clemson
Strachan - WR Charleston
James Smith - P Cincy
Tuf Borland - ILB - tOSU
Josh Imatohebho - WR Illinois
Tommy Togaili - DL - tOSU

That's a good draft but no way Mills is there in the 4th. We'd be lucky to get him at 52.

Rich, you're drafts are just too hopelessly optimistic. Hell, they're almost on par with Erie's old drafts. lol

This just got blown up, Brown just got traded to the Chiefs. You compensation just did not match KC's offer, lol.
Baltimore will get the Chiefs’ first-, third-, and fourth-round picks this year and a 2022 fifth-rounder while sending their 2021 second-round pick and a 2022 sixth-rounder to Kansas City

I wasn't that far off in value though
I think when you read the trade charts - Ravens got less than a 1st Rounder overall in terms of value

Could be - and everyone seems to be in lockstep that Davis Mills won't be there in the 4th (so he becomes Trask)Yogi da Bear wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 2:02 pm Rich, you're drafts are just too hopelessly optimistic. Hell, they're almost on par with Erie's old drafts. lol
I did look at a few sites (admittedly cherrypicking where I could - I mean Elerson Smith seems way, way underrated it seems) - CBS, ESPN, Nfl.com
There is DEFINITELY less group think then normal - take the tOSU DL I have as priority FA - He's rated as such by ESPN but Gil Brandt has
What I SHOULD have done (part1) is use the Athletic list I had that was a consensus top 300 based on a bunch of lists (even then: it's not anywhere near perfect - If 5 teams have a guy as the 80th best prospect and every other team doesn't think he's top 300 - He's still going closer to 80 than he is to be undrafted)
It's probably more fair to almost do a Flow Chart - but this was hard to read as is (should have done part 2)
