Josh Bates - Boise St. - 6-5 , 265 - 4.48 .

Bates would be a huge steal in the 5th. or 6th. Rd.'s . I have him as the #3 TE in the Draft. Great Hands , Good YAC , and he easily is the best Blocking TE in the Draft. Kick Graham to the curb and go get him !

Did you come across a typo?

He ran 4.84, not 4.48

Indeed. And his speed factor (mass-adjusted 40 time) is 91, which is not ideal for a TE.

At the same time, his 3-cone and short shuttle numbers are impressive for his size. I don't know that he's more than a late Day 3 flyer, though, and likely has a ceiling of replacement level.
KFFL refugee.
