I love the Christensen pick. So, there’s that.
I also like Mond, but man that’s a hard sell in R1

That’s just an ugly draft IMO. I still think at 52 we will have a spot at any QB not mentioned in the top 5. But I guess if you ID “your guy” you go get him.
I like lots of the guys he has just not where he get them.

This is scary aggressive but I like the players and agree with the thinking:
- Bears need four picks in the top 150ish to address all needs. This will obv require a trade
- Draft two WRs with one pencilled as slot in 2021
- Draft a CB who can compete for nickel in 2021
- Mond is #6 and could be the guy

Ha, it's not so much the Bears picking a QB as it is multiple mock drafts where Mond, Davis, and Trask get picked in the tail end of round one, be it by the Bears or anybody. These guys have no business in the first round, full stop.HurricaneBear wrote: ↑Wed Apr 28, 2021 9:08 amI predict the Bears don't select a QB at all. Feel better?

Impossible to tell who he left on the board, but unless Simmons is really ready to step up, I'd be a lot happier with a RT prospect at 3b. Otherwise, I get it, even reaching for a QB to get that extra developmental year.
So much road and so few places, so much friendliness and so little intimacy, so much flavour and so little taste.
Friendship is better than fighting, but fighting is more useful.
