Already, Texas A&M has withdrawn from the Gator Bowl from lack of players due to Covid. The championship series has said that a champion might have to be crowned based upon which team has the most healthy players if Covid outbreaks strike the contenders. They have allowed that the Championship Game can be played anywhere from Jan. 10 to 14 if need be for a team to get healthier.

I get it. It sucks.

But infinitely more important is that none of this is worth a human life.

Go ahead and cancel all the Bowl Games and have a voting system or something. Works for me. it isn't worth somebody dying so I can watch a football game.

It sucks because it's real life versus a game, which has much less importance. Hopefully athletic teams get a handle on Covid. Read where the United Center is going to require proof of vaccination for customers.

I am more into the FCS Playoffs. They have a real playoff system and it turns out some exciting football. This year was a 28 team bracket. North Dakota State (Rockbear's team) is back in the the Championship game.

If that level can do it why can't the FBS level?
