**Early disclaimer.... unfortunately, I won't be hitting Chicago at any point. :( **

So, next month, I will be visiting from the UK and thought I would share my itinerary in case you guys have any tips. I'm extremely excited and will be packing quite a few things in.

18/10/2018- Fly to Austin, Texas from UK
19/10/2018- Day Time: Austin F1 GP practice
19/10/2018- Evening: Cedar Park @ Hutto High School (can't wait to experience some High School Football!)
20/10/2018- Austin F1 GP Qualifying
21/10/2018- Austin F1 GP Race
22/10/2018-23/10/2018- Free days to explore Austin. Would like to try a gun range perhaps, learn how to play corn hole, explore the city
24/10/2018- Drive to Houston in the AM and hopefully visit the Space Centre
25/10/2018- Day Time: Free to explore Houston
25/10/2018- Evening: Miami Dolphins @ Houston Texans. Plan is to find a tailgate to get involved with.
26/10/2018- Morning: Fly from Houston to LA
26/10/2018- Evening: Utah Utes @ UCLA. Really excited to see the Rose Bowl
27/10/2018- POSSIBLE: Arizona @ USC. Not sure yet, I might want the extra time for the next item...
27/10/2018- Collect Mustang hire car and begin drive up Pacific Coast Highway.
28/10/2018- Drive up PCH
29/10/2018- Drive up PCH
30/10/2018- Arrive in San Fran in the AM. Explore city
31/10/2018- Free day in San Fran
01/11/2018- Day Time: More time in San Fran
01/11/2018- Evening: New Orleans Pelicans @ Golden State Warriors
02/11/2018- Fly home with no money, no energy but shit loads of memories!

So, any thoughts?! I'm travelling on my own, which means I'll be nice and flexible and able to do whatever I want.

At the moment I don't really have any plans for San Francisco and I've not planned where I'll stay on the drive up the Pacific Coast Highway (that partly depends on whether I'll see USC on the Saturday, as it will mean I have 2 days instead of 3).
I was originally staying in SF until 03/11 so that I could get to Raiders @ 49ers, but tickets to that game are mega bucks and the airline cancelled my original flight :(

Man, that's quite a trip. Have fun man. You'll love the HS football in Texas. I played my high school ball there and the Friday Night Lights are out of this world. Make sure you stop on your way up the coast to check out some of the red woods.
