if you enjoy baseball, you owe it to yourself to take in some Angels games and see what Ohtani can do ... and it doesn't necessarily have to be to watch him throw 100mph heaters from the pitching mound, because on his off days, he blasts game winning 440 foot home runs as a DH

and what he does is made more amazing by how effortless it appears to be ... slow relaxed windup, then boom, the ball explodes towards his catcher ... and at bat he has a very smooth swing ... if he can stay healthy for a full season, he may be the first pitcher in the modern era to compete for a pitching Cy Young as well as a batting award of some kind (he currently leads with 7 home runs)

a generational 2 way talent that is very rare, but very enjoyable to watch

Ohtani now has 40 home runs as a hitter and is 8-1 after 18 starts as a pitcher ... the records he is breaking belong to Babe Ruth who was the last who pitched more than 15 games and hit more than 20 home runs in a season back in 1919

in his last game, he went 8 innings giving up 6 hits, 1 earned run, 0 walks and 8 strikeouts and in the top of the eighth got his own insurance run in the 3-1 Angels win with a 400+ foot home run

the only reason why this is not getting nationwide wide front page type coverage is he is playing for a team that is likely not going to make the playoffs

this guy is a generational talent and is a lot of fun to watch
