Sad day. My favorite band. Saw 5 times in concert, have all their albums, CDs as well. Decorating my music room the other day and just put a ZZ poster up.

Went out and bought a bottle of Thunderbird to toast him with tonight. Nasty shit, but what the hell. I was jamming on Tejas over the weekend.

I have to admit, I didn't know who this was until I did a search and saw he was the bassist. I know Billy Gibbons of course but never learned/knew the name of the bassist. Sad to hear the news.

Makes it more amazing that all the Rolling Stones are still kicking.

The Stones, are they zombies or what? Some of these bands still kicking around is interesting. Was never a big Stones fan, but no way I would pay to see them now. Some of these peeps I just want to remember as younger. Bob Seger, could not bear to see him with long gray hair. Classic rockers will be dying frequently in the near future, unfortunately.
