The Grobber, WSCRs overnight icon, passed away over the weekend. Nobody quite like him.

Oh man. I used to listen to him overnight when I would unload trucks at Home Depot. Sad day.

Heard this on my way to the gym this morning. Sad day for sure. He caught a bunch of shit from most of the other SCORE guys, but this dude's memory was unbelievable. He was a legend. I remember from WLS as well years ago.

I didn't realize he had the level of credentials he did.
I always thought of him as a semi-lovable crackpot.

Also thought he was a bit younger than he was.
He was definitely iconic and it's sad to see him go.

Seems pretty shabby.

Wouldn't 25 on air hrs a week be considered full time (with off air prep time assumed)?
Do other hosts get insurance? Or are their salaries high enough they're expected to handle it themselves?

McNeil's burned so many bridges that I don't trust anything he's saying these days. Guy has fallen off the wagon so many times.

I know there is a gofundme and wondered why. This makes sense. McNeil just trying to get his digs in when he can.
