Do you have "cool" cell phone pics of said dating crap? Because if you did that could be cool.

I don't think he actually meant his date was taking a dump

Don't you have enough people pointing out the dribble that you post on this board? Do you really need to add to that list? I mean your comment might hold water if I had misspelled some of the words. Perhaps you need to sit down and make up an other story in your head and entertain yourself because many of your posts do not entertain us.

*sigh* Boris if you're going to seriously be a jerk every goddamn time somebody has a spelling or grammatical error, I'm just gonna start deleting thread after thread. I seriously am so tired of reading it. If this site had more members I'd be more apt to tolerate that kind of shit, but it's the offseason. It's literally the worst time of the year for the forum.

If you want to be a dick and bust people's balls, do it via PM or your blog or something. Wait until the season when the full body of the forum is around. I seriously can't sift through any more posts where it's just busting DaDitka/DaDoc/whoever's balls. It's fucking July. Give it a few months.

UOK, you seem to have made zero spelling or grammar errors in your post. This makes it very difficult to point one out and sarcastically call you an asshole for making such an error. As such, you've taken me out of my comfort zone of doing something like that. Heretofore you suck. Good day.

someone posts about wanting pics about "date crap" ... I try to make a joke about that request ... and now I'm an asshole?

I though having a sense of humor was one of the nice things about this place

geez louise ... everyone all tense? no one can take a joke any more? would my effort have been taken as the joke it was intended if I had used a smiley face at the end?
I don't think he actually meant his date was taking a dump ;)
fuck it

I apologize for my attempt at humor and the resultant stupid bullshit that followed

you have me confused with someone else as I am not the spelling nazi ...

and I thought making a joke of things WAS cutting people slack?

of course that requires a sense of humor from all involved or it misses the mark

Plus the Hawks and Bulls aren't doing shit in FA either. I see both drifting back into averageness (new word).

Random thought/feeling, baseball is just too damn boring for me. I can't see how people can sit out in this heat and watch that shit!!!! Skipped all my nephew's games this summer, couldn't take it.

Agreed. I have tickets to the Cards game tonight...they are giving out replica rings of the Championship Rings and I'm just going to go down, get my rings, and get right back in the car and drive home.

Nope, all are spoken for (I have to give two of them back to work for the tickets)

it has been warm in my area ... it is summer so that is to be expected ... so why it is a surprise to some baffles me

granted, near record setting heat for a week straight was not the ordinary summer heat, but still should not have been shocking

anyway, one side benefit of the summer heat is it makes people watching on the Metro work commute more palatable ... sunshine, through summer dresses, makes me happy ... and helps the work day begin on a positive note

for those who have more money than they know what to do with, the Orsos ... a $6 million man made floating island

Image
The oval-shaped "Orsos Island" has been designed to combine the mobility of a yacht with the comfort of a house. It offers six bedrooms spread over three floors and 1,000 square meters -- nearly four tennis courts -- worth of luxury living space.

One of my consultants has something similar off the coast of Massachusetts. Not as lavish...but still pretty cool.

well, multiply this by "nearly four" :
The area need for a tennis court is 120' by 60' oriented north-south. A narrow court can be 120' - 55'.

Read more: http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_are_the_ ... z21ZY1K1iB" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
so it is "nearly" 480' x 240'

then you'd have to do some more math to get the "nearly" metric measurements

don't know why they chose to phrase it like that rather than use real numbers ... guess the tennis court reference is so the rich bastards who could actually afford it can understand

twit : "I say Buffy, we only have 2 tennis courts ... more than ample ... but this island boat is much larger ... so this island with motors would be smashing"

buffy : "oh Brad, you're so smart"

Okay... so I misread. I thought it said the boat had nearly four tennis courts. Like... literally painted surfaces with nets and all.

Though barred from combat, women in military service do have de facto roles in combat. Tammy Duckworth, former assistant secretary of the US Department of Veterans Affairs lost her legs in combat while piloting a Black Hawk helicopter. “When I’m asked if the country is ready for women in combat, I look down at where my legs used to be and think, ‘Where do you think this happened, a bar fight?’“
