Roy Halladay has always been a pretty good pitcher ... he spent most of his career in obscurity on Blue Jays teams that never made the post season.
In one of the interviews earlier in the week, he was asked what it meant to be in the playoffs and he responded along the lines of how happy he was and how he hoped he didn't fall flat on his face in his first playoff game.
He then went out and threw a no hitter, only the second playoff no hitter ever thrown. And he was 1 walked batter away from having a perfect game.
