Can you guys tell me what this is?

It is nighttime and I was cleaning up after the kids went to sleep and I just found a flashlight, nerf bullet, ball-point pen, and yo-yo all tied together with the yo-yo string and scotch tape; there's a cat leash attached to it. What do you think it could be? I'm going to ask Elijah, my almost 5 year old, what it is tomorrow, but anybody want to gander a guess? As further hints, I will tell you, I found him all scotch taped together, even over his mouth, on my bed earlier today. I saved him but he wouldn't tell me who did it. Later I saw him crawling around on the ground holding a gun, a drum stick and a small plastic-wire thing that came off the box my new watch was in. It appeared to me that he was stalking his almost 2 year old sister who was peacefully watching "Bun Bah" on my bed. I asked him what he was doing but he just held up the plastic-wire thingy and looked at me cryptically before crawling off behind my bed. Screaming ensuded but there was laughter too so I chose not to investigate further. Does that help?

you should applaud his inventiveness for creating play weapons instead of whining until you sprung the $50 to buy him the latest off the shelf toy boom boom

Oh I do applaud it Boris! His imagination astounds me...although I had a great one as a child too, but I used it for girlier ventures so figuring out what is going on in his head really cracks me up sometimes! He was all into some kind of adventure in his head last night, I could barely get him to come out of character long enough to tell me what he wanted for supper. He was asleep when I left this morning. Can't wait to find out what that contraption was supposed to be. Definately a weapon of some sort.

Imagine Nevada's Lake Mead, the largest reservoir in the United States, as a great sand pit, and imagine the population of the western United States as a colossal ostrich burying its head in the pit. Lake Mead stores water from the Colorado River. When full, it holds 9.3 trillion gallons, an amount equal to the water that flows through the Colorado River in two years. The water from Lake Mead is used for many things. It irrigates a million acres of crops in the United States and Mexico, and supplies water to tens of millions of people. Its mighty Hoover Dam generates enough electricity to power a half-million homes. Additionally, the power from Hoover Dam is used to carry water up and across the Sierra Nevada Mountains on its way to Southern California.

In 2000, the water level at Lake Mead was 1,214 feet, close to its all-time high. It's been dropping ever since. Even today, our so-called drought is still wetter than the average precipitation for the area averaged over centuries. In other words, for the last 75 years, we've been partying like it's 1929. Farmers grow rice by flooding arid farmland with water from Lake Mead; residents of desert communities maintain front lawns of green grass; golfers demand courses in areas where the temperature exceeds 100 degrees Fahrenheit during the summer.

it is a pretty cool pic I think ... can you imagine waking in one of those beach side houses, looking outside on a warm spring day, and there goes an iceberg the size of a small town floating down the bay
