I don't know what you look like eric, but just based on what I've seen of your tastes in this topic, I'm gonna guess that boris would have a lot more luck. I'm not gonna call it lowered expectations, but while you're busy chasing after Sela Ward and Diane Lane... boris is chatting up the busty grannies at Walmart.

I didn't exactly mean it to be an insult boris. Believe me, I think we've got pretty similar standards... I don't think my standards are low, just maybe a lot more flexible than our society in general. I like a few extra curves or a few extra years.
Besides... lowered expectations are our friends. My college buddies used to declare "no pride weekend" where no one was allowed to make fun of the other guys no matter what they came home with. There was a girl named Big Ann that was real popular on those days.

we disagree a bit here ... I don't really consider someone with a few more curves and a few more years on them than "society" finds acceptable to be lowered expectations ...

Then you haven't met Big Ann. I'm not talking about more curves... I'm talkin' just plain ol' BIG, no matter what your standards are. This girl didn't even have that pretty face that some big girls get sick of hearing about. She was big and mean and ugly but she was also very talented.
The college I went to had a 5-1 ratio of guys to girls, so if that was my definition of "lowered expectations" then every weekend would be no-pride-weekend. I'm talking about the scary goth girl that may or may not have actually been a girl (it was a brave soul that put that rumor to rest) and the weird local girl whose dad is gonna come looking for her in the morning. Basically, picture all the weird chicks Deuce Bigalow dated.
I've never really thought about that one. She's funny, in an awkward kind of way but it seems to work for her. She's definitely on the sexy end of the plain-jane spectrum. Just like Tina Fey... smart and funny always pushes an average girl over the line from "willing" to "want to" in my book. I also kind of have a thing for strange girls... and Ms. Louis-Dreyfus definitely qualifies.
