Dalton should have a field day against the Bears ... the Bears only hope is Bad Andy shows up and he tosses 3 to the Bears

I'm guessing he throws 3 TD's and 1 interception ... maybe 2 ... but won't matter as the Bears will go 3 and out after each turnover

Bengals 36
Bears 13

no ... I think it has been a different person each time ... and in reality, that is the only thing any of us can hope to have happen ... it would have to be something inexplicable to get the win as what the Bears are doing by intent is pretty impotent

While the Bengals are still in the playoff picture, Marvin Lewis looks like he's (finally) done in Cincy after this season.

It's just the sort of game in which the Bears should get blown out, which probably means they eke out a silly, meaningless 16-13 win.

Seems like right about the time where the Bears rip off three in a row and screw up their draft position. Then lose to the Vikings in a snoozer to close out the season.

John Fox is irrationally good at beating the AFC North.

I feel like this will be a loss, but yeah, the Bears probably shit out a win.

Bengals, like the bears, are most adept at playing down or up to their competition. i'm certain of one thing: both these teams will look like they're trying to lose.

Bears are constipated so can't even shit out a win, let alone 2 TDs.

Bears do not even know how to look like an avg team.

Dalton feels the pressure and decides to have a kick ass game. He and Green team up for at least 3 scores, because, you know, Fuller decides to be all Bearsy (suck).

I can't see the Bears mustering up a TD. I am thinking Eagle type disaster.

Bengals - 31

Bears - 9

Ok, I think this will be a close defensive match up between two offensive bottom feeders.

Offensive production by the numbers:
Bears are averaging 15.9 PPG
Bengals are averaging 18.2 PPG

Bears offense is averaging 275 YPG
Bengals offense is averaging 280 YPG

Bears are averaging 115 rushing YPG
Bengals are averaging 80 rushing YPG

Bears are averaging 160 passing YPG
Bengals are averaging 200 passing YPG

Bengals 17
Bears 13

My emotions are that I don't really care about the rest of the season. I've felt this way since the pukers loss. I don't know why I keep tuning in to watch this shit show but every week there I am, so I guess I do care. The coaching short comings, constant key injured players, boring predictable offense has this team, that once was a charter franchise, now a laughing stock that is on the cusp of becoming on the same level as the browns. Something has to change, at this point a 8-8 season would be a breath of fresh air.

Fox manages somehow take Bears 3-9 record and turn it into a 2-11 record.

Don't give a shit anymore. Fuck Fox and this organization. Losing to the 1-10 49'ers was the last straw for me.

Bengals - Too many
Bears - Not enough

Who cares.

Maybe this is a topic for another thread, but somewhere in the last 3 weeks it feels to me like the wheels have completely fallen off. Between the incredibly bad losses to the Packers and 49ers, locker room arguments, our run run pass punt offensive strategy (when our OC wasn't running the ball enough last year), odd offense player usage and a defense that is now fading... it just looks to me like this team has crossed over a line where the mental energy is gone. The team has to know that Foxie and the coaching staff are goners, along with many of them. It's not that they're not trying. They are because they have to. But they have so many injuries that the pass rush is gone, the OL is done and the whole thing is about to be blown up.

Andy Dalton at home vs. no pass rush? Sure, he's mediocre. But AJ Green will carve our secondary up like last week's leftover turkey. And if we could only put up 7 offensive points against SF, we won't be outscoring the Bungles.

Same with the Lions in week 15 and Vikings in week 17 as both will be playing for playoff seedings. And even if they aren't, Stafford and Keenum will feast on us anyway. The Bears are will be a nice Christmas present.

I think it's entirely possible that the Bears don't win another game, even one against the Browns at home. The only way we beat the Brownies is if they're underdogs, since Fox and friends can't handle being favored. (And they probably will be favorites on Christmas Eve.) Consider that the Browns are down (up?) 2 games to the Bears, so even if they win, their draft position won't be affected. So they'll be playing to win.

If only this season could be over now.

I pretty much agree with everything here, but I would add like last year every week from here on out a few more players will make an exit to the IR.

Still looking forward to watching Trubisky. So, unlike other lost seasons in recent years. I'll still have reason to look forward to these December games.

However... outside of Burfict being out, and maybe the Bengals coming out completely flat, following choking their season away Monday Night. I don't see a reason to pick us to win.

I think our run game gets on track in a good matchup, but they've been stingy vs the pass all year.

Bengals 23
Bears 17

13-17 points seems to be the norm for us the past two seasons. So... why would it change now?

Just going to spend the next four weeks hoping Trubisky turns a corner, and puts together a full game.

Hopefully we are not dumb enough to win this game. We might be, but I hope not.

I just want to see Biscuit work on his development and if Shaheen gets 5 catches (I know, I know) I'll consider that a moral victory.

I've been waiting for the "oh well we're eliminated from the playoffs f*** it game". We might get that against the Bengals on the road. Then again we might not. The defense is filled with pros.

If a win comes as a result of Trubisky playing a great game, vs a tough defense. That is a far bigger positive than the 2 slots in the draft that it will cost us.

Cincy's pretty much entire secondary is hurt. John Ross also just went to IR. This could be yet another close game. Im certainly not praying for a win, its very possible.

And Burfict. I guess you're right, that's a banged up D.

I'm fine with that. Hopefully it means that Trubisky makes some plays this week.

One loss is the reason why we have Kyle Fuller instead of Aaron Donald. I'd be fine if we didn't win another game this year and instead focused on development.

not necessarily a great argument ... what makes you think the Bears still wouldn't have taken Fuller?

Emery had loved Fuller for an awful long time.
