I don't want to trade up, but am hoping Landry falls to 39. If not, trade down.

It depends on the medical, which of course we'll never really know. So we'll have to trust the bears brain trust with that decision.Otis Day wrote:So if he is falling due to medical reports, you still want him? Kind of tired of the Bears picking injured guys in hopes the injuries are behind them.
There's a big drop off of edge rushers right here. I'm not really thrilled with Key or Carter, and there are lots of Olinemen, corners, safeties, and WR's available. So if we're not taking a edge guy I'd rather trade down 10 picks or so and still get a solid contributor in the 2nd and another good player in the 3rd or 4th.

For someone who, IMO, is heavily reliant on his bend to generate sacks having medical issues with your back/knee along with an ankle injury last season is a bad, bad look.

There are quite a few players left that I like. If they trade back I would be happy. A draft of 2nd Braden Smith, 3rd Dorance Armstrong, 4th Nick Nelson, 4th Korey Robertson would fill a lot of concerns.

Speaking of trading back... rumor that the Chargers may be hot for Mason Rudolph. Denver could be a threat to take him at #40... maybe we offer #39 and #115 to them for #48 and #84.
That leaves us with #48, #84, #105, #145, #181 and #224

Concerning Landry's fall - So far I've seen one tweet about the alleged back and knee issues, and one about teams working to trade up to get him. Maybe both are true. Maybe neither.
I guess if he keeps falling we'll know the medicals are in fact a problem.

If Landry is there at 39 and we have clean medicals on him, he has to be the pick IMO.
I see some quality OGs listed but I am curious how much Harry Hiestand values them over other players that he thinks he can mold into quality NFL players.

Problem with Hernandez, and part of the reason the Bears weren't reportedly interested in Nelson all that much at #8, is because schematically they aren't what Nagy was looking for.

Two guards in a row. Sets us up nice.
I read somewhere that a scout unaffiliated with the Bears considered him a starter. So maybe.Mr.Irrelevant wrote:Harry is our secret weapon. Don't sleep on Jordan Morgan.G08 wrote:If Landry is there at 39 and we have clean medicals on him, he has to be the pick IMO.

Kirk and Landry are still on the board. One more pick until we go.

All about flexibility and shoring up the line for Biscuit. This move probably sends Whitehair to Guard.
