I have a feeling we're going after Ade Aruna from Tulane in round 5 and probably a cb like Anthony Averett in round 4 if he's still available I didn't watch round 3 yesterday.

If we draft a DB not named Holton Hill I’m going to lose my shit. Kid is easily a day 2 talent but got suspended at Texas because he likes to smoke weed. That’s not going to be an issue in the NFL. Long arms, superior technique, and the physicality of a safety.
Holy Shit - We got Justin Fields!

In my former life I was known as FencikFanatic.

Oh, and if you were wondering - yes I'm real. And I'm fantastic.

It's not an issue? I disagree. I don't care much about the drug, I care that all he had to do to cash this winning lotto ticket was not smoke pot yet he couldn't do it. That, to me, is a sign of a larger issue. Lack of common sense, lack of emotional intelligence, and a potential dependency issue.

I'm not saying we remove him from our list, but it's a sign of other potential issues.

I want Josh Sweat in the 4th. I’d like a defensive lineman at some point too. Tyrell Crosby is still out there.

More than half the league smokes weed. They have one announced drug test in the summer they have to pass.

Texas gave random unannounced drug tests in and out of season. He was able to piss clean at the combine - so clearly he can stay off of it long enough to piss clean in the summer.

There’s not a doubt in my mind that he’s the best DB left in this draft and is going to outplay his draft position from Day 1.

MO money to buy better weed when he becomes a pro. Guys seem to drop farther than we think after a positive test.

1- Davenport - EDGE
2a - Landry - EDGE
2b - Daniels - C (asked and no one jumped that anyone between our picks would have taken him. Can sub CB- Oliver if you disagree)
I also would have matched on Meredith so there would be less of a need for WR.

My 2017 draft (I franchised Jeffery for a 2nd time in hopes of an extension or telling him to fuck himself as I was likely awarded a compensatory pick for the 2018 draft when he walked)

1) Mitchell Trubisky - QB
2) Quincy Wilson - CB
4- Switzer - WR/RET (accidentally picked Westbrook, didn't realize he had been drafted so I'm getting the next person who would fill the same roles)
*** Looking at it now I might have gone toward Carl Lawson for the potential duo with Floyd or Roderick Johnson/Connor McDermott as a potential replacement for Massie but I fucked up by not checking to see if he was gone ***
4 - Desmond King - CB/FS
5 - Caleb Brantley - NT

My 2016 Draft
So far I am at:
1 (9) – Myles Jack - SS
2 (56) – Jonathan Bullard – 5T/EDGE/nickel 3T
3 (72) - Kendall Fuller - CB
4 (113) – Andrew Billings - NT
4 (124) - Dak Prescott – QB
4 (127) - Scooby Wright III - ILB
5 (150) - Moritz Boehringer - WR/Flex TE
6 (185) - Jakeen Grant - WR/RET
7 (230) Keith Marshall - HB
Davenport paired with Landry would be scary AF.
Agreed. I would have my "NASCAR" DL set up as

Landry - Davenport - Bullard - Floyd

RRH and Lynch could rotate anywhere. I want Hicks and Goldman to get their reps down, Hicks especially. If we can get those two shutting down the run and getting early pass pressure, then they can rest while we have more 3rd and longs. This lets Landry and Floyd use their burst, and then Davenport and Bullard get to penetrate inside.

Seriously, Hicks played in the 3rd most defensive snaps at 899, or over 84% of the defensive snaps. That isn't sustainable for a 330 pound man getting that many double teams.

I’ve heard of him - but only because he was always hanging around near the top of best available when I would do the mock simulations. NFL.com draft guys did a couple of blurbs on him and others as the new breed of run and chase ‘too small’ LB’s that are perfect for the new NFL.

He’s a ST guy day 1.

I get the sense that Pace/Fangio don’t see the long-term answer at Edge anywhere in this draft.

FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCKKKKKKK

Seahawks drafted both Griffin and Dickson. They won't be able to protect Wilson but they're going to be fun as hell to watch on ST's.

Seeing how far most of these EDGE guys fell - it seems like most teams are thinking the same.

That’s quite possibly the dumbest fucking draft take you’ll ever see.

His own fucking publication had a 3rd round grade on fellow FCS DE PJ Hall.

We just drafted a guy in Fitts who was literally injured in every game he did (and mostly did not) play at Utah.

Ugh.
