I don't know how formal of a retirement is it, as he could probably come back and play in a year or two more (speculative, based on his training propensity and discipline). Doctors may not clear him ever again, though.

And his contract gets traded to the Yotes!! Cleared some cap, got some players, I will miss Hoss, but like what they were able to do.
