Rapaport believes the Chiefs are overhauling their defense and that Eric Berry will be released as part of that.
30 years old, has some injury issues. Not sure if he's the same caliber of talent he was, but something to consider.

If the Bears are letting Amos walk, I’d rather they just roll with Bush instead of giving an older guy who hasn’t been on the field the same/similar money that they wouldn’t give to Amos.

a healthy Berry at a team friendly price would be a nice addition ... not sure what he would be expecting from a contract but hopefully he realizes he is not who he once was and negotiates accordingly
