And...
I don't really care. And that's weird for me.
So... it's draft day.

I care, but I'm definitely less invested this year than most.

I mean, I don't even know if I'll watch it. I'll probably have it on but just in the background.
It also occurred to me this morning that we didn't do our annual draft contest. That's how many shits we give about it this year.

It's a weird feeling!
I'll probably set an alarm for 1am or so in order to see the first couple of picks, that's about it.

I just came here to post the same thing. I think this is the least excited I've ever been for a draft...wab wrote:And...

And that's an AWESOME thing! We're looking at the draft for DEPTH, not for saviors (for a change).G08 wrote:I just came here to post the same thing. I think this is the least excited I've ever been for a draft...wab wrote:And...

I agree this year's 1st round isn't as exciting but honestly, next year I have a feeling we'll be a little more in tune with the offseason because we'll have 2 R2 picks - and potentially 10-11 picks overall with comp picks included.

I agree. I am not invested. However I am interested. I want to see the Raiders fuck shit up. I want to see the Cardinals back pedal on last year's number 1 pick. I want to see what the Broncos do ( after 10 years of living in Denver going to their games )...I want to see how the Giants can possibly proclaim they got better. I want to see who gets Rock Ya Sin...cus thats the best name ever. I want to see the Dolphins and Jets phuck themselves up even more. I need to see who GB, Minn and Det pick so I can make my voodoo dolls.
But yah......come on next couple of rounds

Totally with all of you. Watching the draft with my son last night... I knew who Kyler Murray and Bosa were. After that, not really. I was trying to think of when I last felt so uninterested in R1... Was before 1987 when that son was born.
Mikefive's theory: The only time you KNOW that a sports team player, coach or management member is being 100% honest is when they're NOT reciting "the company line".
