Kreutz to announce the 3rd.

Speculation begins that the Bears are planning a trade up into R2.

Same here. :?:
Mikefive's theory: The only time you KNOW that a sports team player, coach or management member is being 100% honest is when they're NOT reciting "the company line".

Go back to leather helmets, NFL.

Pace really doesn't like to relax and let things unfold. He certainly doesn't mind giving up draft picks to move around.

Got to love the 2nd round too, had some nice success there.

Noted Brain Genius Malk, Summer 2018.

(2020 update, wait, was I right...)

I think it's much ado about nothing, just hedging their bets.

It's a huge jump to go from #87 even to the bottom of the 2nd round. What would it take to make that kind of move when we only have 5 picks as it is? And we're already minus a 1st in 2020. Wishful thinking, I'd say.

I'm thinking it would cost one of our 2 R2 picks next year. Sort of how they moved up to get Anthony Miller when they traded with the Pats last year at the bottom of R2.
